During the hearing, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) questioned Dr. Levine, who if confirmed would be the highest-ranking transgender public official in the U.S., about her thoughts on children undergoing medical treatment to change their gender, calling the treatment “genital mutilation.”
The Senate on Tuesday derailed an effort by Kentucky GOP Sen. Rand Paul to force the chamber to vote on the constitutionality of holding an impeachment trial for former President Trump. But the 55-45 vote tally that stopped the effort was a clear indicator that Senate Republicans support Paul’s constitutional argument and won’t supply enough votes for chamber Democrats to convict Trump.
The move made good on the libertarian-minded Paul’s promise earlier in the day to force such a vote — and perhaps end the trial before it starts next month.
The five Republicans senators who joined Democrats were Susan Collins, of Maine; Lisa Murkowski, of Alaska; Mitt Romney, of Utah; Ben Sasse, of Nebraska; and Pat Toomey, of Pennsylvania.
“Can’t You Just Say the Words, ‘This election was not stolen”?!
Can’t make this stuff up. The fake news media that have been complicit in US “regime change” over the past four years are now acting as the ideological agency to enforce the unfounded legitimacy of the 2020 presidential election these very institutions helped to undermine.
These claims are proffered despite a wealth of evidence to the contrary, articulated by Senator Rand Paul in the clip above. Political leaders like Paul who dare point to clear instances of election fraud and the failure of multiple courts to hear evidence of thereof are given a vigorous browbeating live on air.
In a Sunday interview with New York AM WABC 770 radio’s “The Cats Roundtable,” Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) promised he would do “everything” he could to “prevent” a lockdown if former Vice President Joe Biden officially wins the presidency. This comes in response to Biden and members of his so-called coronavirus task force suggesting another shutdown may be necessary as COVID-19 cases are spiking in some areas of the United States.
Paul said the country cannot be under lockdown and be forced to wear masks like it has the majority of 2020 “forever.” The physician-turned-senator said the idea of remaining inside and canceling Thanksgiving is “ridiculous” and “not based in science.”
