Comcast NBCUniversal Pulls ‘The Hunt’ Following Mass Shootings, Criticism By Trump

Editor’s Note: Comcast NBCUniversal will not release a violent feature-length “satire” The Hunt, wherein wealthy liberal elites pursue and murder white working class (and presumably Donald Trump-supporting) Christian conservatives for sport.

The decision to pull the film comes in the wake of last week’s Dayton and El Paso mass shooting events, in addition to a barrage of criticism leveled at Hollywood by President Donald Trump on Friday.

“The movie coming out is made in order … to inflame and cause chaos,” Trump asserted on Twitter. “They create their own violence, and then try to blame others. They are the true Racists, and are very bad for our Country!”

The Hunt creator Jason Blum’s gore-filled, politically-themed repertoire includes The Purge film and television franchise. The Hunt is written by Damon Lindelof, the co-writer of The Leftovers television series and a well known figure in Democratic Party circles whose oeuvre has highlighted what he deems the persistent problem of “white supremacy.”

Trump calls ‘liberal Hollywood ‘racist at the highest level’ as a satirical film that depicts liberal elites hunting ‘deplorables’ for sport is set for release

Business Insider
(August 9, 2019)

  • President Donald Trump went after Hollywood on Friday, calling the industry “racist” and “really terrible.”
  • Later in the day, Trump doubled down, calling “liberal Hollywood” racist “at the highest level” and “with great Anger and Hate!”
  • “The movie coming out is made in order … to inflame and cause chaos,” he wrote on Twitter. “They create their own violence, and then try to blame others. They are the true Racists, and are very bad for our Country!”
  • Trump was likely referring to “The Hunt,” a satirical film from Universal Studios about liberal elites hunting “deplorables” from the rural US for sport.
  • Universal Studios pulled TV and digital ads for the film after two mass shootings in Dayton, Ohio, and El Paso, Texas, roiled the country last weekend.

President Donald Trump on Friday went after Hollywood, calling the industry “really terrible” and “racist.”

“Hollywood — I don’t call them elites, I think elites are people they go after in many cases — Hollywood is really terrible,” the president said, speaking with reporters on the White House lawn as he prepared to depart for his golf club in New Jersey.

“You talk about racism, Hollywood is racist,” he added. “What they’re doing with the kind of movies they’re putting out is actually very dangerous for our country. What Hollywood is doing is a tremendous disservice to our country.”

Trump on Mass Shootings: ‘Hate has no place in our country’

Jordan Fabian
The Hill

President Trump on Sunday declared that “hate has no place in our country” after a pair of back-to-back mass shootings over the weekend rocked the nation.

“Hate has no place in our country, and we’re going to take care of it,” Trump told reporters at Morristown Airport before departing for the White House after spending the weekend at his New Jersey golf resort.

Trump’s three-minute remarks were the first the first time he spoke publicly about the deadly shootings. He ignored shouted questions about whether the El Paso shooter’s anti-immigrant manifesto shared similarities with his rhetoric and said the shootings are part of “a mental illness problem.”

The president said his White House has “done much more than most administrations” when it comes to addressing gun violence but conceded that “perhaps more has to be done.”

He said he would deliver a lengthier statement at 10 a.m. Monday. He did not answer further questions about the shooting roughly an hour later upon arriving at the White House.

Trump to Sign Executive Order Promoting Free Speech at Universities

(BDS & Lawmakers’ Criticism of Israel Excepted)

President Donald Trump has announced at this week’s CPAC conference that he will soon issue a Presidential Executive Order requiring universities across the US to uphold free speech on their campuses or be prepared to lose federal funding.

“Today I am proud to announce that I will be very soon signing an executive order requiring colleges and universities to support free speech if they want federal research dollars,” Trump said.

Yet in early February the Republican-controlled US Senate passed legislation allowing state governments to refuse to do business with companies that boycott Israel. The bill passed, 77-23, with 22 Democrats and Republican Rand Paul dissenting; Paul rightly argued that the legislation threatens free-speech rights.

As MintPress News observes,

The most controversial part of the bill by far is the “Combating BDS Act of 2019,” which would authorize state and local governments to retaliate commercially against entities that support BDS, such as by halting business with or refusing to contract or hire companies or individual citizens who either actively participate in or support the movement. A previous version of the bill included possible jail time as punishment for supporting a boycott of Israel or Israeli settlements, their violation of international law notwithstanding.

The legislation, which attests to the power of Israeli’s lobbying prowess, has yet to be voted on by the Democratic-controlled House of Representatives.

Along these lines, in 2011 former Georgia Representative Cynthia McKinney explained that US lawmakers must swear allegiance to Israel or face inevitable expulsion from public office.

Minnesota Democratic Congresswoman Ilhan Omar incurred the wrath of the American Israeli Political Affairs Committee in February when she similarly suggested how the US Congress is beholden to the Israeli lobby. AIPAC used the incident to embark on a mini-fundraising venture.

Since 2004 the US Department of State includes a “Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Anti-Semitism.” If taken literally, the State Department’s definition of anti-semitism effectively bars any public criticism of Israeli foreign policy toward the Muslim world and occupied territories. This definition is applicable to the speech and activities of the BDS movement on US college campuses.

Boycotts of certain businesses and even countries is part of a long tradition of nonviolent political protest in the United States, contributing to, for example, the demise of South African apartheid in the 1980s.

Pittsburgh Synagogue Shooting: Questions and Anomalies

by Vivian Lee

On Saturday morning, October 27, 2017, a mass shooting was reported at the Tree of Life synagogue in the Squirrel Hill region of Pittsburgh, PA. A suspect, Robert Gregory Bowers, was apprehended at the scene, after being wounded by SWAT officers. Before he was taken into custody, Bowers is said to have killed 11 of the congregants and injured six, including four members of the SWAT team that he engaged in two separate gun battles. Bowers was allegedly armed with “an AR-15-style assault rifle,” a Glock pistol, and two other handguns.

The officers who rushed to the scene came upon Mr. Bowers as he was trying to leave the synagogue. He fired at them, injuring one officer in the hand, according to the criminal complaint. Another officer had injuries to his face from shrapnel and broken glass. Mr. Bowers then darted back inside and ran up to the third floor.
At that point, a SWAT team went in and came upon the scene of the massacre. Two people were still alive and the police carried them out. As they were searching for other victims, SWAT officers encountered Mr. Bowers, who fired at them and critically injured two officers.
The remaining officers “engaged the suspect in a gun battle in which multiple rounds were exchanged,” the criminal complaint said. At some point in the shootout, Mr. Bowers was wounded, and he eventually surrendered to the police.[1]

Bowers reportedly entered the synagogue just before 10 am, and “the Allegheny County Emergency Operations center received calls of an active shooter at 9:54 am ET…Officers were dispatched at 9:55 am,” according to CNN. In all, Bowers is said to have been inside the synagogue for a full 20 minutes.

Former FBI Lawyer: Plot to Record, Remove Trump Not a Joke

Editor’s Note: It is difficult to recall a time in recent US history when national politics has been so exciting to watch–as if something is in fact proceeding that is unprecedented. If one has only been half-paying attention they must notice very unusual developments that have been largely overlooked by major media, including the recent revelation that top DOJ officials plotted to oust the present presidential incumbent.

(October 8, 2018)

Don’t tell former FBI general counsel James Baker that those now-infamous discussions about secretly recording President Trump and using the tapes to remove him from office were a joke.

He apparently doesn’t believe it. And he held quite the vantage point — he was on the inside of the bureau’s leadership in May 2017, when the discussions occurred.

Baker told Congress last week that his boss — then-acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe — was dead serious about the idea of surreptitiously recording the 45th president and using the evidence to make the case that Trump should be removed from office, according to my sources.

Baker told lawmakers he wasn’t in the meeting McCabe had with Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein in which the subject came up. But he did have firsthand conversations with McCabe and the FBI lawyer assigned to McCabe, Lisa Page, about the issue.

“As far as Baker was concerned, this was a real plan being discussed,” said a source directly familiar with the congressional investigation. “It was no laughing matter for the FBI.”

Word of Baker’s testimony surfaced just days before Rosenstein was set to be interviewed in private on Thursday by House Judiciary Committee lawmakers.

Since The New York Times first reported the allegations, Rosenstein, the No. 2 Department of Justice (DOJ) official, has tried to downplay his role in them. His office has suggested that he thought the discussions were a joke, that Rosenstein never gave an order to carry out such a plot, and that he does not believe Trump should be removed from office.

Trump Derangement Syndrome: The View From My Facebook Account

Anti-White Male Professors Gone Wild

Fake News Media Push ‘Radical Scholars” Buttons

Warning: Extreme Profanity

The bizarre and unfounded allegations of Palo Alto University Professor Christine Blasey Ford concerning Supreme Court nominee Brent Kavanaugh is causing an acute outbreak of Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS), a particular type of behavioral disorder caused by the nationalistic, politically incorrect, and often irreverent US presidential incumbent.

This specific manifestation of TDS is evidenced as outrage over Kavanaugh’s alleged 36-year-old high school exploits, in contrast to his outstanding academic qualifications and professional achievements. Despite the profuse number of holes in Blasey Ford’s testimony and her deep state pedigree, even the very highly-educated Left embrace her without reservation.
