Washington’s recent history is far worse than Rep. Cawthorn’s remarks suggest
Freshman US Congressman Madison Cawthorn of North Carolina has raised a stir among DC elites and fake news media after he asserted on a podcast that he’s been invited by fellow congressmen to group sex parties and has observed them snorting cocaine.
Should this be surprising? It after all describes First Son Hunter Biden’s behavior almost perfectly.
The Hill reported on March 28:
The remarks from Cawthorn, 26, who in his 14 months as a congressman has developed a reputation for unpredictable statements, came in the context of a discussion about whether, in “Warrior Poet Society” podcast host John Lovell’s words, “House of Cards” was a “fictitious show” or if it was “closer to like a documentary.”
“The only thing that isn’t accurate about that show is that you could never get a piece of legislation about education passed that quickly,” Cawthorn told Lovell.
“I look at all these people, a lot of them that I’ve looked up to through my life, I’ve always paid attention to politics,” Cawthorn said.
“Then all of the sudden you get invited to, ‘Well hey, we’re going to have kind of a sexual get together at one of our homes, you should come.’”
“I’m like, ‘What did you just ask me to come to?’” Cawthorn added. “And then you realize they are asking you to come to an orgy.”
Cawthorn also claimed to have seen other people “leading” anti-addiction efforts doing cocaine in front of him.
One “news” media outlet in Cawthorn’s home state responded by investigation Cawthorn’s menacing record of … traffic infractions! According to the presenter, this is but one part of her “investigation” that’s been going on since early March.
Judging by the response of Cawthorn’s colleagues (including House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, who shacks up with “Nazi obsessed” DC spinmeister Frank Luntz) and reflected in major news media, it’s more than apparent that he’s touched on a nerve of truth about how just how wretched things are in DC.
But rest assured that DC “isn’t like House of Cards,” according to The Hill columnist Judy Kurtz, “it’s more like Veep. It’s more of–full of absurdity and goofiness–of weird situations [sic].”
Yeah, that’s it. That Cawthorn must be off his rocker. (He does driver his sports car at rather high speeds.)
As Kurtz and popular Hollywood narratives would have it, DC is in reality populated by bumbling, avuncular characters. You know–the harmless kind that sit across the table from you at Thanksgiving dinner.
Yet in the 1980s Nebraska State Senator John DeCamp observed that DC wasn’t simply full of cringeworthy middle-age-to-senior-citizens, it also had a signifiant pedophile problem–one that could be traced all the way up to the Reagan-Bush White House.
With the aid of decades-long coverups aided by such organizations as the FBI, the CIA, and their news media operatives, DC’s embrace of all things sexual and pedophilic has persisted through the Obama administration, as suggested by the 2010s Wikileaks revelations linking the Clintons and their ilk to both pedophilia and the occult.
Keep in mind as well that fake news media and DC elites have for the past year destroyed the country by perpetrating a demonstrably phony “pandemic”. Once they joined forces and gave Cawthorn “the treatment” it didn’t take long for him to walk back his assertions.
If truth be told, at the end of the day Washington’s sordid past speaks for itself.
