Dallas elections officials say allegations “likely false or instances of user error”

Over the past few weeks corporate news media have interpreted Donald Trump’s repeated claims of a “rigged” election as exaggerated. The Republican presidential candidate’s response in the third presidential debate of perhaps not accepting the election result  was met with similar bluster by the major punditocracy.

The experience of voters in Texas and other states may be bearing out Trump’s warning as multiple reports are surfacing of electronic voting machines changing virtual ballots from Republican to Democratic presidential candidates. Because Texas law prohibits videos and photos in polling places many voters in that state explain the apparent polling shenanigans on social media.

As The Economic Collapse Blog observes,

[A] number of voters in Texas are reporting that the voting machines switched their votes from Donald Trump to Hillary Clinton. The odd thing is that none of the other choices were affected when these individuals attempted to vote for a straight Republican ticket. If Hillary Clinton is declared the winner of the state of Texas on election night, a full investigation of these voting machines should be conducted, because there is no way that Donald Trump should lose that state. I have said that it will be the greatest miracle in U.S. political history if Donald Trump wins this election, but without the state of Texas Donald Trump has exactly zero chance of winning. So those living down in Texas need to keep reporting anything unusual that they see or hear when they go to vote.

Here are several social media posts from the Dallas Morning News article at the I Am A Texan blog.

The Dallas Morning News similarly reports:

Early voters in Texas have claimed that voting machines in Dallas, Collin, Tarrant and other counties changed their presidential votes from Donald Trump to Hillary Clinton.

The allegations follow a similar pattern: Voters say they voted straight-ticket Republican, but when they reviewed their ballots, they reflected they had voted for Hillary Clinton for president, not Donald Trump.

Their votes for Republicans in down-ballot races were not affected, according to the complaints.

But elections officials say the allegations are more than likely false or instances of user error.

Garland City Council member Stephen Stanley said he went to an early voting station at Nicholson Memorial South Branch Library on Tuesday morning while campaigning for candidates on the ballot.

He said around noon a woman came out of the library and told him she had tried to vote straight ticket Republican but the machine said she had voted straight Democrat.

The woman told him a poll worker apologized that the machine wasn’t working and instructed her to use another one.

Stanley said he was worried about people who didn’t double-check their ballots.

“My question is how many other people didn’t know,” Stanley said.

Dallas County elections administrator Toni Pippins-Poole encouraged all voters to double-check their ballots before submitting them. She said she’s received second-hand reports of malfunctioning machines, but no one has logged an official complaint and she doesn’t have any names to go with the claims.

  1. The funny thing is that this is a redux of 2000. Diebold was being used for many of the erroneous voting machines in 2000. However, go to your Bank of America ATM, the second largest bank in the U.S., and, Diebold ATM’s will deposit and withdraw. cash and checks, without a problem. It seems like these are reports of “deliberate accidents”.

  2. Vote fraud has been widely known about for years and nothing has been done about it.

Because BOTH parties like it that way. The media has only occasionally brought up the topic.

Check out Clinton Eugene “Clint” Curtis’s testimony about the Diebold machines – under oath.

“Hacking Democracy” was produced in 2006.

Bev Harris has documented vote fraud for a long time on her blackboxvoting website.

Attempts to mandate paper ballots have died in committee.

If my vote doesn’t count, then what’s the point of citizenship?

    1. This is one of very few sites where several of your combinations of words do not trigger the disappear algorithm. They are going to steal it for her, no matter what we say or how much proof we provide.

  3. I wonder who Trump’s graphic artist is? Usually they do a great job, but this is an eye-sore… In a tweet by Trump today is a distorted American flag with:
    –navy blue section shaped like a triangle (w/17 stars for 2017 I suppose);
    –with red/white circle in center of the triangle (reminiscent of the “eye of the pyramid”);
    –with 3 red lines.

Why put the big red circle (outined in white) inside the navy pyramid section? That makes no sense. (There’s no such circle in the real American flag.) Why not just fill the navy area with more stars?

  4. I don’t understand this article, is it a red herring? Those of us that have been screaming about the phony machine issues for years know perfectly well that it doesn’t matter what your ballot “shows” when you look at it. All the changes can be made easily afterward even if your screen shows you voted for a monkey.
Hacking Democracy, Murder Spies and Voting Lies: the Clint Curtis Story, Black Box Voting, this info is way old, and it doesn’t matter one smidge whether these people “check their ballot.” On these machines that is about as real as a bank credit.
Why talk about this instead of the real place these elections are stolen, inside the black box where no one can see.

  5. Sorry I’m behind with keeping up here! “Punditocracy” 🙂 Nice one!!! I’m in Texas and already voted (for Trump). While I didn’t have any problems with the machine, i don’t doubt these problems are going on.

The last excuse I heard blamed ES&S (?) software. That may indeed be accurate. I believe I saw that marque on the machine I used. The machine was called an iVotronic or something like that.

Main thing was that it wasn’t one of the Soros-connected machines which I have read are being employed in about 15 US states (though I now forget their name). I was mostly vigilant about that. Apparently, these Soror machines were the prime culprits in two suspect Venezuelan elections. I’m wondering whether this equates to what Wayne Madsen calls the “Soros flip”?

One final note… I didn’t vote straight-Republican. For me it was about 75% R, 20% D, and 5% Green. My method was a bit unacademic and I won’t bore you with how I threw darts at the board (so to speak). If there is a software “glitch” (likely built-in), it may be mainly affecting straight-ticket voting. Perhaps some deviant assumptive geniuses thought that strait-ticket voters would be least likely to proof their choices since they are using the method which requires the least time and attention.

As a final, final note, there were three or four Democratic judges running unopposed. I refused to vote for any of them. This, in fact, seemed to confuse the voting machine the most. The machine didn’t understand this as protest. It alerted me that I had failed to make several “selections” and implied I was in error for so doing. Most frightening, the machine nearly “timed out” (at which point my vote might have been lost or counted as “corrupted”). I mention this because the “timing out” process couldn’t have been longer than a mere ten seconds.

So I was at least indeed relieved to finalize the “transaction” and read that my vote had been counted. Whether it actually was is anyone’s guess (especially with the recent Project Veritas revelations about the thoroughly corrupt Democratic Party).

I hope the equally corrupt Republucans rid their ranks of the likes of Paul Ryan et al. posthaste.

      1. Come now, many adults realize that we have to make a choice between 2 people. Is waffling the answer as you insist? Do you really believe there is no difference between the Witch and Trump? We have no chance with Clinton, we have no future with Clinton. Hillary follows the neocon line, they own her, fat ankles and all. She does what they tell her to do. Do we want a total stooge of the real people who run this country?

        1. An organized crime figure + a reality show Buffoon=charade, a play,
presented by the very same 2-Party system that brought us The War on Terror, 9/11, False-Flag shootings across the country,
Bill Clinton, Kosovo, The Bush Crime Family, the invasion and murder of 1,000,000,000 Iraquis, the destruction of irreplaceable artifacts-
no, as I have said for the last year the same handlers control both of them,
we are too late for the ballot box and too early for the powder horn

  6. Attempt on Running Mate Pence’s life to derail Trump campaign?

    Bird dogging involves soliciting violence.
Trump’s Walk of Fame star was destroyed violently, and many of his followers report violence and vandalism against them.
Secret Service had to contain an active shooter, who attempted Trump assassination at Trump campaign.

IMO, may have been a “deliberate accident”.

  7. Angel Scott who commented here seems to be the only one with any sense of reality, which doesn’t surprise me on this site. The entire (s)election process is nothing but literal theater and the script, including the outcome of the big act, was written long ago. Sure there might be some legit infighting amongst Trump and his sociopath friend Clinton, but that’s the extent of it.

Those who vote are not only disgusting for supporting either of the satanists, but also total fools for believing their vote counts.

I feel very strongly that “Hacking Democracy” and other related, well-produced documentaries and such, are in fact all red herrings meant to keep people discussing the control of machines that in no way play a role in the vote count. Why discuss rigged machines if the fake numbers for the totals dont even come from them? Why in the world would those in control worry about counter hacking or anything else changing their long since planned outcome? They wouldn’t! The do and must have total control and leaving it up to thousands of machines and rigged code would not be a safe guarantee for their plan to come to fruition.

IT IS ALL A HOAX and discussing rigged voting machines should be left to the mainstream sheeple who can’t think outside of the box and focus on the actual reality of the situation. News of rigged machines is a distraction. The machine do not play a role in the (s)election process.

    1. Well Diebold voting machines are very much a part of what is the robbery of open elections,
its part of the process of controlling candidates and political power,
a result of the introduction of programmable computers in the election process,
      it is very relevant
