The Board of Directors of the James Tracy Legal Defense Fund Inc. (“the Fund”) is pleased to announce the formal establishment of the Fund as a legal corporation in the State of Florida.
The James Tracy Legal Defense Fund Inc. was founded in January 2016 to generate financial support for retaining competent independent legal representation for Dr. James Tracy following the abrupt January 6, 2016 termination from his tenured position as Associate Professor of Journalism and Media Studies by Florida Atlantic University.
Academic freedom and free speech are among the basic tenets of a free and democratic society. Tenure is intended to protect faculty from the various political pressures often brought to bear on modern universities, and to allow faculty to research and address potentially controversial subject matter without fear of reprisal.

The underlined phrase doesn’t allow you to click on it and get to another page to donate. I refer to the one with today’s date in it. Maybe still waiting on setting up a way to use a credit card?
How does one send an email to Mr. Tracy? I have some info I thought might be helpful. thanks

I’ll get a small donation in the mail this week. Sanction against thought is the battle of the ages. I encourage all dialogue – for me, taboo does not exist at the level of discussion.
I’ll toss in a hundred bucks but you are going to need much more.
I’m sure your financial support will be much more useful than your intellectual support.
I hope the converse doesn’t hold in your case, Rich
On the other side the spectrum, where state sponsored propaganda arrives on the silver screen and everyone is awarded and applauded, this is what it looks like – glowing reviews from the Hollywood Reporter and down the Mockingbird line:

Third time I’ve commented, and my comments keep being wiped off.
What are you afraid of, Variety spooks? Looks like you are afraid of the TRUTH.
As I said twice before, the only spreadsheet needed in respect of Sandy Hook is to keep track of the millions of dollars which have been paid out to the participants in this hoax. David and Francine Wheeler are professional actors, and Francine works for CFR members. Daniel Barden is also a performer.
I recommend the video “We Need to Talk About Sandy Hook,” as well as the book edited by James Fetzer, “Nobody Died at Sandy Hook.” There’s a great vid showing David Wheeler also posing as a law enforcement goon on Dec. 14, 2012. Sandy Hook was nothing but a stupid hoax.
America, wake up. We are being lied to all the time, about everything. And Variety: should you remove this comment again I’ll write a special blog post SPECIFICALLY ABOUT YOUR LYING RAG. I’m quite skilled at exposing hoaxes, myself. See: http://therealcolorado.blogspot.com
Once again Dr. Tracy, I wish you the best. We all know the consequences of speaking up, the lonely existence of the truth teller.
There comes a time however when we must realize that remaining quiet only condemns our prodigy to a black future. They and all who are not even aware will suffer if those who understand remain quiet.
I salute your courage and I know it wasn’t easy. It is always much easier to go along and get along, and that is why we are all in the position we are in.
Here is to the hunted existence of the truth teller.
May I also say, you won’t find much acceptance for your courage here in the physical world, planet earth. However you will find rave reviews in the afterlife when you meet the creator. Karma cannot be thwarted.
Your blessings remain in the future as a man all should look up to.
I didn’t realize that you were religious, Dublin. I may have misjudged you.
I guess you most certainly did. Although not presently a member of an organized religion, I do fancy myself as a scholar and researcher when it comes to the topic of religion. (defined as the search for truth)
I do not attend any organized events however. I used to tell my mother and aunt (who married a baptist preacher) who always wanted me to go to church. I told them I don’t mind going as long as I am the one preaching the sermon, I didn’t come here to follow, I came here to lead.
It took me a long time before I realized I must be a Hindu (described as the search for truth) by the Rishis.
You know, I had enough time to be factored in toward retirement in the border patrol before they convinced me I should be a representative. In those days a union representative was covered. I pretty much said what I wanted. Those days ended however. At present the border patrol union had to hire an attorney to speak on their behalf. They can’t fire the attorney.
I came under a lot of scrutiny however and in the present day, I would have probably been sent to Guantanamo as a traitor. Of course as everyone is aware here, we are losing ground to the NWO by the minute.
Best of luck to you Mr Tracy. Check in the mail.
A bit off-topic but this just in:

Off topic, but breaking news about an active shooter situation at Naval Medical Center San Diego. Luckily, they just had an active shooter drill in December: https://www.facebook.com/NMCSD/photos/a.840651072674269.1073741898.143732805699436/961076800631695/
Active shooter at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego. Commenced at 8:30 this morning.
Apparently we are not to worry. Brian Williams, who never lies, says that they’re looking to get an all clear in San Diego shortly, and “that at minimum this was a GOOD DRILL for various agencies…”
Brian “Just because I say things that aren’t true does not mean I intend to mislead people” Williams is on the case.
This couldn’t get any better.
Hey, has anyone seen, read, or heard of this document and court case?

Hi Dr. Tracy
Apparently you are being stalked by some of your former peers. I found this comment on my blog concerning your termination. It is from a new blog from a guy who calls himself phahrenheit451 and uses a pic of Osama.
“Thank you PayPal. The evidence shows that Dr. Tracy was fired for a failure in ethical behavior. Some call it stealing when you take something that isn’t yours. Right Dr. Fetzer? ?
Apparently Dr. James Tracy hadn’t filed FAU conflict-of-interest forms for the past 3 years. In addition, the University administration already knew Dr. James Tracy was using FAU’s resources for his activities outside his university job. Now I understand why Dr. Fetzer and his minions have been keeping a low profile and not pissing all over my posts.”

Obama’s “War on Truth”
I would have guessed that some individual or organization like AAUP, American Association of University Professors, would have mounted a strong moral and financial attack on the Tracy termination. Loss of tenure protection would seem to be overtly destroying the foundation of the entire academic world, yet where is the strong counterattack of AAUP anyway?
It appears that money is available by the truckload to perform these false flags, to monopolize and direct the major media to do the devil’s bidding, yet for Tracy, I see no support to defend both him and what he and the professoriate stand for. I find this incredibly peculiar.
Is this just another case of environmental racism? Do the trees hate Tracy? Can somebody help us understand why Tracy has been placed in no man’s land and his brethren appear to be divorcing themselves and their jobs from their defense of this incredibly brave individual?
From your summary I think that what we are seeing is someone who opened a can of worms about official policy which is widespread, at least since the biggest hoax of all, the most embarrassing to our global reputation should it be torn apart and those who would do it be respected – 9/11. Or you can walk it back, MoonWalk style, with Dave McGowan. The fact is that if you are at all concerned about these events (since 9/11 – I don’t think the moon story personally affects us), if you and your youngsters have been subjected to fear mongering or fraud, then you have to know more. Yet it would be the end of the line for the powerful bureaucrats who perpetrated this. Better to sacrifice a few small fry to keep the stories rolling.
I think those who really care about school shootings or the safety of their city from terrorists, will either accept the official story and join in solidarity with the lying and abusing parent who has tricked one, or will keep turning over rocks to see what slithers out. I am the type who always looked for critters under rocks. My hunting has always been successful because I have found reality based communities like this one, of people who truly care. Some are very brave indeed.
The Moon fakery does indeed affect us all in that it is part of our identity as a nation. National pride. “If we can send a man to the moon, surely we could….” It exemplifies the optimism and capability that made the 20th the “American Century.”
Really, that one serves, even now, as a Grand Myth the denial of which almost makes one un-American.
In this sense, it is very similar to 9/11–a myth that defines America’s role in the world of the 21st century, the public denial of which draws ostracism, at best, and even the need to be destroyed, in many cases.
When one publicly rejects the Myths that define a national identity one becomes a terrorist–in the literal sense. Instinctively, the listener feels terror, as when an earthquake suddenly begins. If you can’t trust the ground under your feet, you can’t trust anything. If they lied to us about going to the Moon, America’s greatness is not true; if 9/11 was a fraud, the War against Terrorism is a hoax, and thus America’s role in the world is entirely fraudulent. Scary stuff. No one wants to think about these things, because the implications are too terrifying. EVERYTHING we are expected to believe could be false. Few people have the courage to go there.
I agree with you, Patrick. When I chronologically set the limit at 9/11, ti was in response to the sense that we had entered a new era with that event. But there was deception before, quite brazen, and also for propaganda purposes (and to corrupt people like scientists, I suppose). It should therefore come as no surprise that they know there are things they cannot examine without bringing down the wrath of their funding agencies. To get ahead, I see, they have to make certain statements that show they accept these stories and to dismiss those who do not. It’s dogma, just like many religious dogmas that defy reason. If they will not recite the credo of the establishment when called upon, they cannot play the science game. It’s astounding their other work can go forward at all.
One example of the moon guy who accepts the story is someone lately in the news, Professor Mike Brown who “killed Pluto” and is now tracking a larger planet with a huge orbit in the Kuiper Belt – what he hopes will prove to be “the 9th planet” . He grew up in Birmingham, Alabama, with a dad who worked in the rocket industry (I think for NASA or some affiliate). He brings it up, quite unnecessarily, in a bid for a “return” to the moon. He’s one of Time Magazine’s “100 Most Influential People.” I think he does good science, yet his sphere of endeavor forces him to concede certain points in order to get ahead. I am sure this kind of attitude influences his students as well. It creates a bond of solidarity against those who would question the system that pays the funding.
But the unwillingness to confront these fake events throws every other form of exploration into question, at least for America. It gives me the feeling the world will move on and leave us to our backward mythologies while it forges ahead in fact-based projects.
The problem is that no one can independently verify anything that is going on in space. We can surmise certain things from how the world has changed, and see there is validity to the notion of progress. We take so much for granted that has gone forward. But the moon landing is like the product it gave rise to, the powdered breakfast drink, Tang. Artificial and unwholesome.

I think these are two different doctors;one at Georgetown(cancer research) and the dead one at the VA Hosp in Washington state.
The attempted firing of professor Tracy is illuminated by the treatment of Miquel del Toral. Del Toral is a water decontamination specialist working for the Enviromental Protection Agency testing public water for lead and other impurities. in Febuary, 2015 he tested the waters of Flint, Michigan and found that they were heavily contaminated with lead. Lead is very poisonous, especially to young children, destroying their mental capacity among other disabilities. He wrote an e-mail to administration saying so.
They did nothing; not informing the people of Flint that the water was poisoned, or making any public announcement. The previous and follow up tests were faked, flushing the initial lead out of the system before the tests were administered. Del Toral wrote other e-mails; anything above 15 parts per billion was considered unsafe, and some tests showed tens of thousands of parts per billions.
Nothing was done. Del Toral was castigated publically as a “rogue employee” and discredited and sidelined. Eventually, nearly a year later, it was publically admitted that the public water was poisoned, and resignations and other corrective actions are in progress. But the ingestion of lead is cumulative, and especially effects children, the 9000 children of Flint. Even washing in it or smelling it is unhealthy. And this is water that for two years the residents were protesting was discolored, smelled bad, and tasted awful.
But finally Miquel del Toral was vindicated. He was telling the truth about the state poisoning the bodies of the people just as professor Tracy is telling the truth about media poisoning our minds and souls. Both men are professionals just doing their jobs. Unfortunately, they are doing it when the power system has gone historically corrupt. In Flint the little money saved in poisoning the people went to the banks to pay bonds, downplayed in the media. In Tracy’s case, the lies were told to prevent the people from defending themselves from the state with guns.
The lies and the environmental racism is occurring all over the country, and it is being fought by professionals who are trying to do their jobs when their administration sides with anti-people power against the people. Professor Tracy is not an isolated case; change can only be implemented by an aroused people. But honest professional specialists are essential to legitimate that arousal.
Can’t wait to hear truthfolker’s definition of “environmental racism”. Pray tell, what does this mean, anyway?
Is the environment racist, consciously or unconsciously? Are trees prejudiced against people of color? Is it possible to see evidence of these types of racism? How does one know that the environment is hostile toward them? Should we fear the environment because of this racism?
I know a lot of people here jump on folktruther when he says things like decisions are made with racial bias. I happen to know someone from a large black family who grew up in Flint. I don’t know all the details of her life there, but suffice it to say that her family was (back in the 50’s and 60’s) both religious and prosperous. Yet who could argue that she had full civil rights throughout the country? Could she have just picked up and lived anywhere? Yes, there were jobs in the auto industry then, and Southern blacks gladly picked up and went there. But could they go home and just flaunt their good fortune? No. You could wind up dead for doing that.
Fast forward to the present – the auto industry is in Asia for the most part. My brother has decided to open a factory in Michigan, and he got a good deal for it – but he makes medical devices. I doubt his industry will employ the millions the auto industry once did.
It may or may not be racist when the impact falls disparately on a large group of people who relocated to a region which lost its main industry. The original workers are dead, but their children still live there. Where are they to go? It’s as much a story about the end of our industrial base – where people who once picked cotton, went North for better jobs, and now have been left high and dry. Some are white, some are black, but because they are in a dying region, they are getting poor services.
My co-worker/friend’s family was huge – about 13 kids. My own family was 8 kids (in So. Calif.) Today’s industry cannot tolerate families that size (unless you are in some communal arrangement like the Mormons). This leaves a lot people in a bad situation, and it may be that large percentage are black people whose forebears came up from the South after WWII. The real problem may simply be that we have boom and bust cycles in our economy, and nobody really has a home they can rely upon for many generations.
Gil, it is comments like this that give ignorance and stupidity a bad name. google ‘environmental racism’ and learn what Wikipedia has to say about it.
Says who? Surely you don’t/can’t speak for anybody else, let alone your self. Wikipedia does nothing for me, it’s a joke for many reasons. But, it’s obviously your Bible, right, truthie?
The attempted firing of professor Tracy is ALSO illuminated by the treatment of Dr. David Lewis, Ph.D.

There are TMTC, Too Many to Count, firings of professionals just doing their jobs righteously.

Abstract
Neurotoxicology. 2007 Sep;28(5):1032-42. Epub 2007 Mar 1.
Confirmation of and explanations for elevated blood lead and other disorders in children exposed to water disinfection and fluoridation chemicals.
Coplan MJ, Patch SC, Masters RD, Bachman MS.
Fluroide in municipal water does a double wammy on poor children, Black and Hispanic often, because it is related to their obtaining more lead in their water and is why their are inordinate numbers of minority children in special education classes.
Dr. Master is a sociologist and most likely an atheist or agnostic and is probably only concerned about higher special education monetary costs to municipalities and states and is why he personally is working to stop fluoride in city water.
To me, all of these cases of the EPA and all the usual culprit alphabet federal agencies, including the DEA, are against the citizens. They are evil and are not about the “common good.”
I must correct myself. Dr. Masters and none of the cited Ph.D.s associated with the fluoridation study to my knowledge have been actually fired. However, there is more corruption connected with this fluoridation issue than you can shake a stick at, and Dr. Masters and his study associates did more than anyone to show the emotional and I.Q. hits fluoride makes on minority youth. Almost all of mainstream dentistry is on the wrong side of the fluoride issue, and don’t even get me started on the money trail in all of this!
I wonder what it is about dentists that they bought the fluoride scam hook, line, and sinker?
My dad is a retired dentist, and my brother-in-law has since taken over the practice. Both are USC grads. My mother (at my father’s behest) took fluoride pills during pregnancy; I got fluoridated water in my formula, took fluoride tablets from age 2-13, and had fluoride treatments every six months. My teeth, frankly, are beautiful, and I’ve never had a cavity, but I hate to think of the neurological damage that has been done.
Recently, I asked my BIL about fluoride, and he told me that he doesn’t know how it could cause any problems because the molecule is too large to be absorbed through the blood/brain barrier, or anywhere else. I asked him about the current findings on fluoridation, and he did mention something about the difference between sodium fluoride and calcium fluoride…and I didn’t know which kind the studies addressed.
I figure “less is more” (generally), so I stay away from it. Err on the side of caution and all that. (But maybe that’s the fluoride talking?)
It’s because of specialization, Recynd, in this case medical specialization. All dentists care about is teeth, and fluoride is good for teeth, apparently. That it destroys your brain cells or whatever is outside their area of responsibility.
A relative was head of the Calif dental association, was extremely honest and caring, and fought long and hard for fluoride in the water, including cartoons by Conrad in the LA Times. He was proud of his fight, which was successful. His opponents appeared to be dingbats, but they may have turned out to be right.
It demonstrates the danger of letting specialists, experts, and professionals determine policy without the holistic views of the general population. This goes double for truth production.
Do not want to get too far off topic but the fluoride issue has been fraught with many learned truth tellers — PhD scientists, dentists, and M.D.s — being ostracized and targeted in various ways, including being fired, for their professional truth telling.
Silicofluorides and Higher Blood Lead:
A National Problem that Particularly Harms Blacks
Dartmouth University
Professor Roger D. Masters
Research Professor of Government
& Nelson A. Rockefeller Professor Emeritus
President, Foundation for Neuroscience & Society
310 Gerry Hall – HB 6222
Videoconference – Appalachian Environmental Lab, Frostburg State University, Frostburg, Maryland
“At present, U.S. public water systems serving over 140 million people are fluoridated with 200,000 tons per year of commercial grade hydrofluosilicic acid (H2SiF6) and sodium silicofluoride (Na2SiF6), together called “silicofluorides” (or “SiFs”). Data from numerous studies show that, taking economic, social and racial factors into account, where silicofluorides are used, children absorb more lead from the environment, and there are higher rates of diseases and behavioral problems associated with lead poisoning (including hyperactivity, substance abuse, and violent crime). …” snip
As a long term observer of the fluoride paradigm and the subsequent research to prove the damage it can wreak, I find that an absolute answer to this problem is not so easy to obtain. There are areas of natural fluoridation in the US, do people that live there have more fluoride induced maladies? I believe the Texas panhandle has considerable fluoride, perhaps in the Ogalalla aquifer, do people suffer more from the various forms of alleged fluoride damage? I do know that the teeth of many of those Texans are mottled and the result is called fluorosis, I believe.
Sure, conspiracies abound in every corner of life, proving yay or nay is usually not so easy. Harvard published a study that allegedly proved that osteosarcoma was not fluoride induced, although some researchers insist the studies were flawed. Science is not a straight line vector to answers in most cases. I suspect we can argue the fluoride question ad nauseam.
The fluoride they dump into the water is a toxic waste by-product of the fertilizer industry. It is hydrofluosilicic acid, which does not occur naturally. If you do a search, you will find that it is a scam; what industry would have had to pay to dispose of, they actually get cities to pay them for.
Fluoride is one of the most toxic elements; it has no benefits to human health, and certainly is damaging to bone. Mother’s milk contains zero fluoride, because it has no use to the body, only damage.
If you live in an area with naturally occurring fluoride in the water, I’d suggest moving.
Surprisingly, dachielady, I strongly agree with you. The relation of fluoride in the water to impurities, and the effect on children, is the first I’ve seen Mentioned.
I am off topic again but this is sort of a “Breaking News” impromtu item.
Dr. Fetzer’s show was scheduled to start at a few minutes ago, at 7:00 p,m. Central time.
But LiveStream is down and show will not come one. There have been many technical difficulties of late in getting the Real Deal show to broadcast by Media Broadcasting Center (MBC), of Canada, but the problems have heretofore been a direct attack on MBC by unknown entities. But today is the first time that LiveStream has been hit.
THEY are going full court press against Dr. Fetzer and Dr. Tracy.
Service Unavailable
Sorry, we are experiencing technical difficulties. We are working on the problem and service should return shortly. For status updates, please visit status.livestream.com

The show is broadcasting now so the delay was only a few minutes, but I still suspect the same source for all the “technical difficulties.”
The show guest is Nick Kollerstrom and the theme is “the darkside”, “war on terror”,9-11, Star Wars Manachean theme and the darkside, Illuminati ruling the world.
Now they found out that the city employees at Flint were given water treatment and bottled water a year ago. So they knew exactly what they were doing.
From the James Tracy Legal Defense Fund Inc. page:
“Academic freedom and free speech are the basic and shared tenets of free and democratic societies. On January 6, 2016 Florida Atlantic University terminated Dr. James Tracy’s tenured position as Associate Professor of Journalism and Media Studies, ostensibly for failing to fill out and file paperwork in a timely manner. Tracy began as his employment at FAU as Assistant Professor in 2002, and was granted tenure in 2008. His 13-year record of teaching, research, and service-oriented contributions at the South Florida university has been consistently adjudged as excellent by his peers.
Many observers contend that Tracy’s firing stemmed from his articles and commentary made on his personal blog, Memory Hole, interrogating the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre of December 14, 2012 and similar controversial events. Beginning in early 2013 Dr. Tracy became a target of many mainstream journalistic outlets that have routinely failed to provide objective and responsible investigative coverage of such incidents. Dr. Tracy’s abrupt termination suggests a broader affront to free speech and academic freedom not only at FAU, but for free thinkers throughout the US and world.
The James Tracy Legal Defense Fund Inc. was established as a nonprofit charity by Dr. James Tracy and other concerned scholars in January 2016. The central purpose of the Tracy Legal Defense Fund is to generate revenue toward retaining competent legal representation for researching and ascertaining the facts pertinent to Dr. Tracy’s case.”
And so it continues with the obloquy from news organizations:
James Tracy Crowd-Funds Legal Defense
http://www.browardpalmbeach.com/news/james-tracy-crowd-funds-legal-defense-7546923
Also, this piece of incisive journalism from the Palm Beach Post:
Poll: 84% say FAU right to cut ties with controversial prof James Tracy
“FAU, unable to pierce Tracy’s tenure shield, was resigned to doing its best to distance itself from Tracy and his rantings.
That all changed last month when it came to light that Tracy had written a hurtful and cruel letter to the parents of Noah Pozner, one of the 20 kids killed in the Sandy Hook tragedy, telling them to prove Noah even existed.
That was enough for FAU to move to terminate Tracy, tenure or not.”
Why report Tracy’s side of the story? He’s a loon.
http://opinionzone.blog.palmbeachpost.com/2016/01/27/one-rant-too-many-fau-seeks-to-cut-ties-with-controversial-prof-finally/
I didn’t know losing a popularity contest could get you fired. I also wasn’t aware that a third- or fourth-party accusation…potentially baseless or not…could get a tenured professor the boot.
Obviously, I have a lot to learn!!
Without sources or critical reflection, The Republican American publication says:
“At Florida Atlantic University, communications professor James Tracy — who famously claimed the December 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre was an elaborate hoax — finally got his pink slip after nearly three years of shockingly offensive, embarrassingly slipshod scholarship.”
http://www.rep-am.com/Opinion/935582.txt
Now THAT’S as “fair and balanced” reporting as I’ve ever seen.
Was just over at Spingola’s site, she has a new article about James Tracy’s dismissal from FAU. Her view, apparently, is that it was all due to a Certified Bargaining Agreement issue… once again, she cannot see the forest for the trees.
Listening to the usual nitwits this afternoon on WGBH Radio, Boston, I heard so-called liberals including a so-called Globe columnist conservative talking about the occupation at Malheur Reservation, Oregon led by the Nevada ranchers, the Bundy’s. Now this is not some occupation I approve, because I am in favor of retaining common lands for conservation and public access. What did get me about it was two things: 1)Their slipshod attitude towards the facts in favor of their spitting out their opinions and 2) Their complete sense of impunity is mocking the Mormon religion (one is a Catholic, I think, and the other a Jew – and let’s face it, the mythologies of both can run to some pretty silly impossibilities too).
Here’s how they described the BLM — “What is it – the Bureau of Mines —- Land and Mines” (what next – the “Bureau of Landmines”?). How so-called reporters who pretended to follow the story could forget the “Bureau of Land Management” of the federal government – the crux of the conflict being disagreements about grazing fees, and rancher access, plus rancher arrears in payments —- well that tells you plenty. You may disagree with the way some rancher handled his relationship with this agency, but how these so-called top journalists in Boston could stumble so badly is an indication to how bush league they really are, how mediocre and incapable of examining the facts of anything (BMB was way over their pay grade, I guess). These are the same reporters who laughed about the 19th century disease “consumption” without once looking it up and seeing they were mocking the sufferers of T.B. But they are almost amusing to listen to while unloading my dishwasher. Almost.
Meanwhile, they failed to understand the role of Mormonism in American history, failed to see its appeal in pioneering days. I suppose they would laugh about the Donner Party too. Gore Vidal often deplored those whose ancestors had come through Ellis Island and now called the Civil War “something so distant, like the War of the Roses.” He was a bit of a snob, and this condemnation should not apply to all from recent immigrant stock. Needless to say, many old line Americans care only about football or golf or their portfolios. But the truth is that both the Civil War and the Utah territory of Deseret resonate today in the attitudes of people. To pretend they do not, and that it “won’t be on the test” is a disservice to one’s role as a reporter. Just calling these radical Mormons (if that is what they are) a “bunch of loons” is something they would never be allowed to call the Lakota Sioux during the Wounded Knee affair.
What can I say – Alex Beam, Margery Egan, and “Greater Boston”‘s Jim Braude are hacks whose opinions are pre-formed and unaffected by facts. Therefore, they are not the go-to people in a crisis that whose who subscribe to these public broadcasting stations think they are. But I think the better educated who watch and listen to them might have figured that out. People need to empty their dishwashers from time to time.
As I have no real academic standing (a PG3 award with Distinction) I cannot realistically comment from an insider’s point of view. Notwithstanding, I believe that the public are embarrassed that so many seeming ‘academic’ comments are no different to what they – in their uneducated state – might make in similar circumstances. I hope that my view is not disturbed by really clear, well-thought-out commentary as it might wake me from mental slumber. How awkward!!! I probably need to follow up with ‘I speak as a fool’. Even this will no doubt go astray. Hang in there Prof.
