On the Topic of Conspiracy (Theory)

TracyOn this episode New Zealand-based philosopher Matthew R. X. Dentith interviews James Tracy. The two discuss false flag terror and the uses and origins of the “conspiracy theory” term in modern public discourse.

Matthew is a self-described “conspiracy theory theorist” who wrote his doctoral dissertation on conspiracy theories. In that work and his new book he breaks from the commonplace disparagement of “conspiracy theorists,” arguing in part that engaging with and thinking seriously about political conspiracies would likely contribute to a much more vibrant political discourse than what is observable today.

dentithMatthew teaches courses in political philosophy and critical thinking, is the author of the book, The Philosophy of Conspiracy Theories (Palgrave Macmillan 2014). He also hosts his own podcast, The Podcaster’s Guide to the Conspiracy, and blogs at all-embracing.episto.org/

  1. The Church and Rockefeller Committees represented the last serious Congressional attempt at oversight of rogue intelligence activities in the U.S. That was 40 years ago. It took a break-in, at the Democratic National Campaign Headquarters, to accomplish this. Given that the “plumbers” included both an FBI and a CIA asset, it took a nearly Praetorian Guard-like attempt, to overtake the political process, to overcome the inertia of Congress (or the Judicial branch) to perform their sworn duty to oversee gross intelligence agency crimes.

      1. Patrick,I just read through not one but TWO MM articles….much meat there…I need a nap. Thanks. (Isn’t Miles the one who said that all NYT op eds were ordered to be sent to the Pentagon for censuring?

  2. Project Longevity:

Connecticut Governor meets with Eric Holder, and other federal and state officials, on November 27, 2012, only weeks before Sandy hook:

“Attorney General Eric Holder, U.S. Attorney David Fein and Connecticut Governor Dannel Malloy joined members of law enforcement, public officials, social service providers, community leaders and researchers in New Haven today to launch “Project Longevity,” a comprehensive initiative to reduce gun violence in Connecticut’s major cities. Project Longevity uses a strategy that has shown violence can be reduced dramatically when community members and law enforcement join together to directly engage with these groups and CLEARLY COMMUNICATE A COMMUNITY MESSAGE AGAINST VIOLENCE, a law enforcement message about the consequences of further violence and an offer of help for those who want it. To accomplish this, law enforcement, social service providers and community members are recruited, assembled and trained to engage in a sustained relationship with violent groups.”

“After MORE THAN A YEAR OF HARD WORK AND PREPARATION by so many public and private partners, I am pleased to announce Project Longevity, our statewide anti-violence initiative,” said U.S. Attorney Fein. “Many dedicated people and organizations have come together to support this proven strategy to reduce gang and gun violence through focused deterrence.”

“The organizational structure of Project Longevity in New Haven includes a Governing Board, Strategy and Implementation Team, Research Team, Law Enforcement Team, Community Service Provider Team and Community Engagement Team, all of which meet regularly. Project Longevity’s Governing Board includes: U.S. Attorney Fein, Governor Malloy, State Senator Toni Harp, State Representative Toni Walker, New Haven Mayor John DeStefano, New Haven Alderperson Jorge Perez, New Haven State’s Attorney Michael Dearington, Court Support Services Executive Director William Carbone, Connecticut Department of Correction Commissioner Leo Arnone, Director of the Center for Crime Prevention and Control at John Jay College of Criminal Justice David Kennedy, and Yale University’s Vice President for New Haven and State Affairs and Campus Development Bruce Alexander.”

“Other participating Justice Department agencies in Project Longevity include: the FBI; Drug Enforcement Administration; the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives; and the U.S. Marshals Service.”

LESS THAN THREE WEEKS LATER WE HAVE SANDY HOOK!!!!

  3. The biggest elephant in the room is so-called climate engineering. There we behold the biggest lie and conspiracy ever foisted upon mankind.

Here is a brief tutorial on “High Bypass Turbofan Jet Engines, Geoengineering, And The Contrail Lie.” I highly recommend the short video which elucidates the science as to why it is impossible for most contemporary aircraft to emit a vapor trail, let alone a persistent one:

  4. Thanks to James and Matthew for a most refreshing and enjoyable interview!
James, I think you will get a kick out of this innovative video by Operation Chaos. His take on the Sandy Hook event incorporates a comedic touch that I think many of the contributors here will enjoy. Everyone should check out his channel on youtube:
