    1. Would be nice if it was only in Boston, the farce is all consuming. When I clicked on your link, first was directed to a free college education and then my computer warned me the bostenherald article had a very dangerous virus that should not be executed, what the heck will try it again, after posting this.

      1. The next launch displayed the article without the warnings of how dangerous that website was, please forgive me, cannot bear to read another line of the propaganda….

  1. Thank you James squared! Tptb made this intentionally a difficult concept to understand so that the un-educated could never question the Ponzi scheme.

They will keep it rolling as long as it is convenient for them, would not be surprised if they deem all those who have managed to save money, will have to sacrifice it to those more needy than you.

There has been failed legislation of a transaction tax, that banks will be allowed to charge you for holding your money and anytime you move it. Forget about the old days when they actually paid you interest for that pleasure.

Actually, a local businessman complained he does have a bank surcharge on every deposit, he does not deposit everyday as he used to as it is expensive. Do you need change, as in quarters? There is a cost, tax, umm charge for that!

  2. “A determinist is simply, if he is consistent, a fatalist about everything; or at least, he should be. For the essential idea that a man would be expressing by saying that his attitude was one of fatalism with respect to this or that event — his own death, for instance — is that it is not up to him whether, or when or where, this event will occur, that it is not within his control. But the theory of determinism, once it is clearly spelled out and not hedged about with unresolved ‘ifs’ entails that this is true of everything that ever happens, that it is never really up to any man what he does or what he becomes, and that nothing ever can happen, except what does in fact happen.”–David Foster Wallace

The NSA, a framework for an eventual regime of imposed determinism:

Clearly NSA panopticonic surveillance is ultimately about seeing the full “maze” of human societal and individual possibilities, of scanning and charting all potentialities and dimensions, without of course ever admitting to the greater populace that this would ever be possible or, what’s worse, that the “maze” itself could ever be minutely molded…

P.S. As clearly the Euro-regime has become one of anti-democratic economic determinism, and which is currently attempting the absorption of Ukraine into the self-same maze.

P.S. II The notion of NSA “determinism” is used in a much more restricted and (self)-causative sense here:

    1. Obviously this is what participants routinely talk about in this blog: the multifarious, seemingly ever increasing forms (camouflaged drills, entrapments, self-generated plots, etc.) of security state imposed determinism on individuals, the greater populace, and society as a whole.

    2. “The boundary of the U.S. response to terrorism is the critical frame through which to view the vast impressionistic canvas upon which the NSA attempts to connect the dots: The root issue is not the balance between national security and civil liberties but defining the boundaries of the U.S. response to terrorism.

President Barack Obama’s speech at the National Defense University on May 23, his major national security speech of 2013, seemed to represent a shift in a different direction. ‘We must define the nature and scope of this struggle, or else it will define us,'”–that is, it will determine us.

    1. You have to wonder how many Jerry Sanduskys are out there. This wiki article, surprisingly has a lot of the gruesome details, although they fail to mention the first DA that investigated him that went missing.

My niece graduated from there and was devastated on how the press besmirched the memory of the grand ‘Papa’. She later received her doctorate in child psychiatry. Wonder what her opinion is today of how grand that institution was ….

  3. Possible micro-indicators that at least certain Wikileak documents are intentionally deceptive (which could be the case for any number of reasons and would not necessarily indicate intentional deception of or by Wikileaks), principally those allegedly taken from Stratfor (which Wikileaks describes as a “a company that fronts as an intelligence publisher, but provides confidential intelligence services to large corporations…and government agencies, including the US Department of Homeland Security, the US Marines and the US Defence Intelligence Agency.”):

A search of the term “determinism” in the Wikileak database demonstrates a preponderance of negative, critical, delegitimizing, or, at the very least, undervaluing references to and uses of the term. Such as (and almost inclusively): “…but the biological evidence is not as stridently deterministic as it is often presented.” “…the sort of determinism you are invoking…could be taken to mean that character and leadership, wisdom and reason, inspiration and faith, patriotism and compassion (and their absence) matter for nothing.” “Rand notes that like every form of determinism, racism invalidates the
specific attribute which distinguishes man from all other living species,
his rational faculty.” “But for all his businessman’s
qualities he remained a Soviet man, a Marxist believing in economic
determinism” “These political responses are among the worst examples of technological determinism, based as they are on the assumption that the technology caused the trouble.” “There is also the criticism that we engage in geographic determinism – over privilege it, which is not true…” “As long as some choose to abdicate their personal reality and submit to the delusions of humanism, determinism, and collectivism, just so long will they be subject and re-acting only…” “Rejection of determinism – belief in one’s ability to make a
difference.” “Extreme geographical determinism propagated by Friedman and his adherents.” “Poland and Russia must overcome ‘the curse of historical determinism and cut the Gordian knot of lies…'” “Unfortunately, such views are not so influential in this age of economic determinism…” “Marxist determinism is hardly an adequate justification for the hundreds of thousands of lives…” “…but that might be approaching a bit of determinism [i.e. higher Mulsim pop = more violence]]…” “…advocated a cultural version of the ECFA OCo it all boils down to economic determinism…” “HISTORY HAS ALSO LEFT US DOCTRINES OF ECONOMIC DETERMINISM AND STRUGGLE, WHICH ARE ALSO OBSOLETE IN THIS ERA.” “ECHEVERRIA CONCLUDED CALLING FOR ELIMINATION OF “ASSUMED GEOPOLITICAL DETERMINISM…” “…testify to the limits of geographic determinism as an explanatory model.”

This preponderance of negative ideologizing of the term on the part of Stratfor and other elite apparatuses of the American intelligence and foreign policy industries appears unusual as it has academically been reported that, for example, the CIA’s “perennial obsession with objectivity, reason (as narrowly defined), and science also affected collection in Iran…a scholar who has written about cultural and foreign policy, confirms that the neglect stemmed from the CIA’s “ahistorical and acultural” bias, and from their “emphasis on materialism, economic determinism, and current events.”

The preponderance of such anti-deterministic avowals from Stratfor and other elite apparatuses of the American intelligence and foreign policy industries in the Wikileaks database, when previously the aforesaid where characterized, defined, and seemingly almost delimited by a “perennial obsession with objectivity, reason…science” and an “emphasis on materialism, economic determinism” strikes me, at the very least, as fortuitously propagandistically invaluable for the American intelligence and foreign policy industries as a whole, and for Stratfor in particular.

    1. Conclusion should read: “…and for Stratfor in particular, as they appear to synchronize or align the operating ideologies of the aforesaid intelligence apparatuses with a presumed and understandable partiality for “free will” over “determinism” on the part of the American public.”

      1. P.S. Additional authoritative corroboration of the assertion that elite apparatuses of the American intelligence industry have subscribed and apparently continue to subscribe to deterministic analytical viewpoints: “‘Beyond the generous remuneration I can only suspect Kaplan is receiving, this union makes intellectual sense,’ Daniel Drezner, a professor at Tufts University’s Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy and a blogger for Foreign Policy magazine, told me in an email. ‘What Kaplan and George Friedman share is a sense of geographical determinism that allows them to claim predictive powers.'”
