The graphic chart, “The System of Several Cover Organizations Used by the CIA,” is from the 1968 book, Who’s Who in the CIA: A Biographical Reference on 3,000 Officers of the Civil and Military Branches of the Secret Services of the USA in 120 Countries, compiled by East German author Dr. Julius Mader. The Cold War relic was likely completed with the assistance (or direction) of KGB and/or Stasi intelligence services.

“In re-forming the intelligence system, which is directly subordinated to the President and optimally freed from even parliamentary control,” Mader writes in the Foreword, ” the ruling circles of the USA have, in recent years, proceeded from a concept of subversion which must be seen in conjunction with the extremely precisely [sic] defined imperialist global strategy. It was under this aspect that the President of the USA said as early as 1962:

In the measure that military weapons become more murderous–and an increasing number of countries have such weapons at their disposal–subversionist war, guerrilla warfare and other forms of fighting acquire ever greater significance. In the measure that thermonuclear weapons become mightier and one has less and less opportunity of using them, subversionist war plays an increasingly more significant role.

With this statement psychological warfare and all the dirty methods of subversion were publicly raised to state policy for the USA” (8).

“From 1947 until March 1967,” Marder continues, “US Senators and Congressmen have demanded a strict parliamentary control over the CIA no less than 152 times. To no avail. Public opinion in the USA already fears that the CIA has become the ‘invisible government’. This becomes particularly clear when one analyses to which alarming measure the CIA and the Department of State, the Foreign Office of the USA, have become integrated in terms of personnel. Even the ‘New York Times’ of April 27th, 1966 estimated that 2,200 CIA agents are active in the diplomatic service of the USA ‘under official cover abroad’.

The present reference work shows how and where
–the Department of State and the US Foreign Service and its agencies, such as
–the US Information Agency
–the Agency for International Development
–the US Arms Control and Disarmament Agency
–the Peace Corps
–the US Education Exchange, and
–the US Mission to the UNO

… The FBI also places cadres at the disposal of the foreign intelligence services. Within the USA this institution, as federal police force, devotes itself to the persecution of peace partisans, Communists and other progressive forces, as well as so-called counter-espionage.

… The rulers of the USA are, of course, extremely interested in keeping the mantle of secrecy over their intelligence network. This mantle has been torn aside in not a few cases in recent months. The CIA answered by tightening up their secrecy directives and also by improving their cloak and dagger rules. The ‘invisible government’ shall have neither names nor faces.

For this reason the time appeared to have come to demask a first representative selection of leading officials and officers, collaborators and agents of US intelligence services who are operating on five continents” (8, 10-11, 13).

Indeed, the chart suggests how the US intelligence community’s influence and operations extended to US and foreign-based labor unions, philanthropic foundations, student organizations, and journalistic entities. If the military-intelligence-industrial complex’s manipulation of public life was so ambitious almost fifty years ago, imagine how vast it likely is today.

  1. This is just the short list. They left out the rest of Congress and those in Hollywood and TV making propaganda movies and programs. Hard to hold a reunion with so many members.

      1. http://www.cbsnews.com/news/suspect-charged-in-random-hawaii-shooting-spree/ This is the news from back when Mike Stengle’s son did the shooting spree. THEN there was another shooting connected with Calvary Chapel in Albuquerque which was also connected to a part time pastor/prison chaplan and word is that that chaplan was told stuff about two high up politicians and so the false flag was done to demoralize him and threaten his family and ruin his life so he wouldn’t testify

      2. This article, Cover Organizations Used by the CIA, is interesting to me because of some personal encounters with Obama back in 1989. Back in 1988 or 89, a man named Danny Lehman came to my church, Calvary Chapal of Albuquerque and invited my singles’ group to his Honolulu Hawaii YWAM mission base. I sold most of my belonging and signed up for 6 months of bible study classes that was supposed to end in a trip to either Singapore or the Philippines. I lived at their Manoa Valley YWAM mission that was almost directly next to University of Hawaii. (there was just a Catholic School in between) This is the interesting part, I had several encounters with President Obama back then and he was connected with Danny Lehman. The first time I remember meeting Obama was when I worked one day for ManPower, a temporary agency. The building was a high rise in downtown Honolulu. My job was to deliver mail to each floor, moving up in the elevator. It took most of the day, so it was a large building, but this was 25 years. At the top, the last place I think I delivered mail, was Obama working in a penthouse office – when I gave him his mail he stared at me very aggressively and was super intense. I can’t remember our conversation but I didn’t like it. Even though the pay was good and the work was easy, I didn’t like that encounter so I called ManPower and told them I didn’t want to work there. This happened after I had been kicked out of YWAM, the leader of my group, Stewart, said that even though I was following all his rules, that my heart wasn’t right and he didn’t feel right taking me overseas. I told him that he owed me a refund since he admitted that I was following all the rules and only God can see a person’s heart. I bought a car and got some room mates from Calvary Chapal Honolulu and worked, waiting for my refund from YWAM. I had to get my church pastor, Bill Stonebreaker, to confront Danny about delaying my refund. When I did go to YWAM to get the refund, he asked me to deliver a package to his lawyer – OBAMA! and gave me directions to his house. When I got to the house on a ridge that could be seen from the highway, (not the house but the ridge because I married shortly after the last OBAMA encounter and I remember pointing it out to my husband while we were driving on the freeway and telling him about it) The door was open but there was a screen and his deep voice called from inside the house. This is the part that doesn’t make sense to me, I recognized his voice, was scared, opened the screen, threw the package onto a table inside and ran down the steps to my car. So maybe this other encounter happened first. I was either going in or out of the Honolulu Calvary Chapel church because I was passing through the foyer and there was Obama and Danny Lehman. I think there was one more man too, maybe Bill Stonebreaker. They stood in my way and Danny Lehman asked me if I would go to lunch with the man with him, which was Obama. I asked, “WHO is he?” and Danny Lehman answered, “He’s a contributer.” Danny Lehman was an elder on the board of Calvary Chapel and had a lot of standing in the church. He didn’t regularly talk to me, especially now that I had been expelled from YWAM. The other person standing there also had stature and I didn’t have the fiber to say no. So, I left with Obama and, instead of to lunch, he took me across the island to a beach about 20 or 30 minutes the opposite direction from Honolulu. We talked on the way to the beach but I don’t fully remember much that he said. I think he said that he had finished his law degree at Harvard and had been the president of the school newspaper and was going back to run the newspaper some more. I do clearly remember Him saying he was writing his memoir. I don’t remember which name he gave me, I think it was Barry and Soetoro. He talked a lot of being a democrat and abortion and since I had already had an abortion myself and didn’t enjoy it, that really turned me off. So when we got to the beach, we walked out there and there were people there and it was kind of awkward so I asked him what he wanted to do? And he said to sit anywhere. I walked a few steps and decided to take him literally and sat down. When I looked up, he was leaning down toward me with his EYES CLOSED with the obvious expectation that I would turn my head and kiss him. When I saw it I tucked and rolled away and quickly said I was going to the bathroom. I walked to the bathroom and went in and waited a while, then I came out and was going to run to the parking lot and take off down the road but there was a huge local dude, looked like a Samoan, some yards away who blocked my way AND MOVED to continue blocking my way while maintaining eye contact. I turned around back toward Obama because he was relatively less scary and threatening than the local dude. I went back to him and told him I was going to get my own ride back to my car in Honolulu. He said confidently, “No, I’ll take you back.” I wasn’t sure where that big mok was so I allowed him to escort me to the car we came in, which was not big or expensive or fancy and might have been missing the door latch on the passenger side. On the ride home, he directed my attention to something, like a perfume bottle in a baggie that was rolling around on the floor and said it was expensive or something. I don’t remember anything past that. After that, I had already met my future husband at a few church parties. Chuck Smith, the founder of Calvary Chapel came to dedicate the Honolulu Calvary Chapel, I still have the church bulletin from his visit, and Robert, my future husband asked me on our first date in the balcony at Calvary Chapel Honolulu after Chuck spoke. My husband actually attended church at Calvary Chapel North Shore but had come to Honolulu to head Chuck. An interesting side note is that Robert’s pastor and the man who performed our wedding ceremony was named Mike Stengle. It was common knowledge that his dad was an FBI AGENT. AND supposedly his son opened fire with a high power rifle and killed random strangers on the Hawaii highway!!!! (sounds like an early false flag to me!) also interestingly, their daughter is a Hawaii celebrity because she studied hula and can dance in the ancient ways. The first few dates that Robert and I went on, my hand was on the door latch the whole time, I was almost 30 years old and for some reason I was terrified to be in the car with him even though I found him attractive (even though I had been on hundreds of dates before and hadn’t had my hand on the door latch) I recently went back to Hawaii just last month with my daughter. She was trying to figure out which beach he had taken me to… and it seems to be in the area of Kailua. Interestingly, after we were there, we heard that Obama was coming to the island. They said he comes every Christmas, which is something I didnt know. We were relieved to not have traffic problems due to his visit even though everybody said there were going to be some.

      1. Correct it is a cease and desist notice, however it should be noted the the Law firm Hogan/Lovells is an international firm that works for several government agencies and is likely also CIA which kind of brings my off topic post back in line.

Interesting I might add …. It appears the spooks have been spooked.

Hogan Lovells is an international law firm that does alot of government work related to Gun Control & they work with/for Intelligence Agencies and Mr Jared Bomberg upto 2011 was a Staff Assistant for the US Senate

        Introduction
In our 2012 White Paper, A Global Reality: Governmental
Access to Data in the Cloud, we debunked the oft-repeated
misconception that the 2001 USA PATRIOT Act (“Patriot
Act”) gives the United States government greater powers of
access to data stored with a third-party Cloud computing
service than governments elsewhere.1 This misconception
has been perpetuated by critics, including in advertisements
by non-U.S. Cloud service providers, to support the notion
that the best way to “protect” one’s Cloud data from
troublesome government access is to use Cloud service
providers present only in “safe” jurisdictions – as typically
stated, those located outside of the U.S. continued in here

  2. It’s almost impossible for many to believe that one of their classmates or co-workers is doing intelligence or is an intelligence asset. These people will usually wear a charity or activist mask and take leadership positions. When you do start to explain their seemingly erratic, incongruous behavior as having to do with an intelligence program things do start to make sense. Most people don’t aggressively call people nazis or anti-Semites. Most people don’t accuse people of a crime as retaliation for criticizing their political views. Most people don’t pose as women online in order to gain the confidence of a co-worker and publicize anything racist, sexist etc. he may say in order to ruin his career. Intelligence assets do. Most people mind their own business and give others the benefit of the doubt. Intelligence assets don’t. It’s the big-mouth psychopath that does everything for the sake of humanity that you have to look out for. And, far as I’ve seen, they’re everywhere. Maybe not byway of Chantilly, Virgina, but they are walking around with hip-pocket orders from major foundations to make “changes”.

  3. Honestly, I think it goes much deeper than this. I think they are in all types of industries (construction, healthcare, software, lobbying, etc) and there to help influence and initiate and police actions needed to further this world police agendas and suppress those who would stop it or reveal it. That is why it’s so important to get involved in the local politics in your own backyard. We can make a difference, it works from the bottom up, not the top down.

    1. Consider this gem from another former CIA Director, William Casey, “We’ll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false.”

      1. Anne, are you aware of the Reinhard Gehlen organization–WW11 NAZI German army general on the Eastern front (Russian) in charge of counter intelligence? He flipped after the war and became an allied asset using his ‘expertise’ re Russians to parlay it into a whole new career.

He helped to set up both the new CIA and the German BND (their intelligence organization). He also prolonged the cold war with bogus information on exaggerated Russian (read: Communist) exploits and military capability. The only people who benefited from his high-handed shenanigans were his old fascist cronies. I think JFK had figured it out. The rest is history…

So when discussing American intelligence, factor in Operation Paperclip and the Ghelen organization, as well as the Martin Bormann economic octopus with a thousand tentacles across the globe.

        1. Mr. Tracy, thanks for posting this. Mae Russell’s audio archives are a treasure and opened up my eyes even more.

        2. Without pausing for breath, Ms. Russell lays out a tremendous body of research, and exposes many of the murky Russian/Nazi CIA connections.

She’s sharp and acerbic, as she includes Mark Lane’s “Rush to Judgment” in her suggested key reading bib, yet announces that she can’t stand him.

At the age of ten, I fidgeted in a Texas public library study- carrel, gratefully seizing an abandoned book, rather than continue on with my social studies report on Maribou B Lamar. It was “Rush to Judgment.”
Absolutely fascinating – and I was relieved to see her give it the respect it deserves.

Henry Ford a Nazi? Who knew. That book propelled me to read, collect and investigate. I travelled to the Henry Ford Museum to see the Lincoln. Ironically, the Limo rests approximately 50 yards from a blood soaked wing-back chair where Abraham Lincoln sat to watch the play at Ford’s theater. Yet, the windows are all shrouded so that you can’t see in. I was hoping to find someone who could tell me about the front windshield replacement. I also wanted to look for evidence of repair along the top of the windshield frame. Couldn’t see in – I guess JFK deserves more privacy and respect than Lincoln?

I also travelled to DC to access FOI released memos relating to JFK, and RFK. I found that the Library of Congress is completely organized to keep out riffraff like me. But, I digress…

She also mentions E. Howard Hunt. Yes, time has carried away evidence. However, it is also slowly opening locked doors. His filmed death-bed confession puts to rest any doubts about the CIA’s key role in the JFK assassination.

        3. “Reinhard Gehlen would recruit many former Nazis to participate in the stay-behind …”

Recently I watched an interesting program about a man by the name of Arne Lund (teacher) who was recruited by CIA from the mid fifties into the early sixties to conduct secret trips across the Russian border on special assignments – part of the Stay Behind program Reinhard Gehlen was instrumental in forming.

This man kept his secret till five days before he passed away recently. He summoned a trusted cousin and his story was recorded. The family, wife and six daughters, knew nothing about his secret life. Mr. Lund lived in northern Norway and would travel to Finland where he crossed the border into Russia. A dangerous, but well paid mission.

He said there were many others recruited by CIA for these secret cold war/stay behind assignments and some never came back. At the Finnish border they would cross into Russia on foot and leave packages at certain locations. The documentary is not in English, but the scenery is not bad. It’s about the dying man’s death bed confession and then informing the daughters after his death about their dad’s dangerous
          other life.

  4. So many angles from which to address this article’s main contentions. I always want to step back and look at the global picture, which from 1967 or ’68 has had decades to reassemble into a more complex and detailed composite. Theories abound, going off in many directions; but one thread offers a clearer insight–powers in place mean to maintain their pyramidial construct. The only impediment to success is the obstinance of the human race. People want to be free. Checkmate that predilection and the nefarious goal is in sight.

So I Googled “who really runs the world” to find about ten major corporations service the entire planet with food and consummer products. They are not all American…Nestle–an Anglo-Swiss corporation is the biggest international food distributor with billions in annual profits.

Don’t get stuck on square one, which may defeat the purpose of finding truth in the maze of facts–many put out to derail research. The elite usurpers are one big happy family of degenerates and come in all sizes and colors.

This link was interesting but my computer disallowed my viewing. Many here are computer savvy, so see what you can come up with….(as seen on Brasscheck TV).

    1. I agree with everything you say here, Marilyn, except this:

“People want to be free. ”

No, they don’t. Freedom terrifies almost everyone. Because freedom means responsibility. If people wanted to be free, they would never have tolerated the imposition of the income tax or anything that Franklin Roosevelt did to the country, not to mention the equally despicable Lyndon Johnson. They would not tolerate the existence of the TSA. They would not tolerate the militarized police.

Bostonians, on Patriot Day, meekly submitted to martial law for no reason whatever, and then cheered Big Brother after the experiment was stopped.

People like the state replacing private charity, because they’d rather be zoo animals than free citizens, otherwise they would be outraged by Social Security and Medicare and Medicaid. People do not want the freedom to utterly fail, which is what genuine freedom is. They want lots and lots of safety nets.

That’s why Plato wrote The Republic, and why people have allowed tyrants rise up and rule them ever since.

We were wonderfully free in this country for our fist three centuries in this country (well, except for blacks and Indians), but we blithely sat by as all that freedom was systematically stripped away over the course of the fourth (and final) American century.

      Too bad.

      1. Well, Patrick, explain why Blacks and Indians (to this day) eschew their inalienable rights and settle for second-class citizenship…

Could be they have developed that inertia that stems from generations of mental slavery–though the law reads otherwise. Why do women still accept low status, domestication, or even abuse? Is it because our culture frames the message and controls the debate?

Little that even a towering figure like FDR or a political giant such as LBJ could do to move the roadblocks engineered by the power grid.
However, both men did attempt to move the pile a few inches. With mixed results, I might add. Your contempt for certain progressive projects baffles me. I see it born from personal political bias.

Look behind the curtain and behold the Matrix! Therein lies the answers we all seek. Who benefits most from the deception, which seems to be part of the human condition? Certainly not the average Joe/Jane.

“Absolute power corrupts absolutely. I feel that civilization is sentenced to an old-time ‘press’ execution, with weight added stone by stone until the breath is squeezed out. Then we die. Who sits on this court of no appeal?

        1. “Your contempt for certain progressive projects baffles me”

It is because everything that is supposedly “progressive” about American politics since Wilson was president is only “progress” in the sense that it is a steady movement away from freedom, that I hold it in contempt. My contempt should not baffle you, if you love freedom.

Progress away from freedom is no progress at all. The state is the true enemy. It cannot be good, and it cannot be trusted. If it cannot be eliminated, we must at the very least starve it by denying it the power to create money, or to tax. But we threw all of that away, in the 20th century, sadly, so much so that Americans can’t even understand these things anymore (outside the Mises Institute, that is). Jefferson talked about binding the state down with the chains of the Constitution; he was usually smart enough to see reality for what it is, but when John Marshal asserted that the Supreme Court has the final say as to Constitutionality, Jefferson should have understood that there are no bindings that can permanently constrain the state. I don’t think he saw the implications of that despicable claim; it made the mess we live with today inevitable.

As I say, we had it pretty great for three centuries. I’d like to see an ACTUAL “progressive movement” take hold, defined by steady “progress” back to those better days, as all the damage the monstrous presidents of the 20th century did is systematically undone. But that’s not going to happen. The only “progress” I see in our time is the steady movement “progressives” are relentlessly pushing: a cattle drive towards 1984.

        2. That is a great post that describes just where we are. I believe that we are far beyond 1984 by 30 years progress and in the throes of “Logan’s Run.”

        3. Patrick, the problem about starving the “state” is cui bono. It seems to me that a low-state environment like the American South in the antebellum era produced a few oligarchs and a lot of slaves and serfs, with no public rights to education or health or anything. You start dismantling the state, and unfortunately you may get an all powerful state, which might be called “freedom” but actually be rule by the richest and most powerful for themselves. They will appropriate money as they wish for defense/war. Perhaps they will tell you that with a small advance (after all the state has not been completely dismantled) they can make the war of choice pay for itself out of loot and swag acquired there (Iraq – oil). Then when the loot flows in, it will still be the case that they will pocket it while the public will pay because it can be squeezed out of them. You’ll say – “See? That’s the consequence of income tax.” But no, it will be the consequence of force in the hands of malefactors of great wealth who will call the shots. The “little people” will still have property appropriated to pay the powerful for their adventures.

Enjoy the Olympics. It’s kind of interesting that warships in the Black Sea look like phase II in the Axis of Evil stakes begun by Bush. I still think Russia will be secured before an attack on Iran occurs. What resources might we be seeking (even as we pretend we are awash in oil today domestically produced – for how long?). The malefactors of great wealth do not sleep.

        4. Of course you are correct, musings, as you usually are.

My comment had to do with the nature of freedom. By definition, any power of the state comes at the expense of human freedom; any dependence on the state makes us that much more like a zoo animal. But in a fallen world, advocacy of this point of view becomes a reductio ad absurdum, inevitably. Three centuries was an unnaturally long run for freedom to reign (unless, I once more hasten to add, you were black or an Indian, in which case you were unlikely to partake of it). I said that people prefer being zoo animals, to be taken care of from cradle to grave, and are terrified of the idea of genuine freedom. This is undeniable truth. Very few, a diminishingly small number, would risk taking on true freedom for themselves–leave aside what concerns they might claim to have for other people.

As the Declaration of Independence clearly states, governments are instituted among men to secure freedoms for all that a few evil men, given the chance, would deny everyone else. Words to that effect.

It is a philosophical quandary. I love reading the fine libertarian thinking Lew Rockwell and the Mises people produce, and why not? But often, I am amazed at their naive optimism. They are dreamers. I am a realist. 1984 is coming (and with all respect to John Luv, outside of the Sandmen part, Logan’s Run seems a far happier world than 1984–prepare for the worst, I say).

As long time readers of my comments here will no doubt remember, I believe that the old South is unfairly maligned by the worshipers of the vile Lincoln cult (i.e. practically everyone alive). I contend that it was to a large extent a profoundly Christian society, and for the most part blacks were treated with civility and dignity–Harriet Beecher Stowe and Quentin Tarantino’s lies notwithstanding. And I can not bring myself to sing along when Julia Ward Howe’s vile screed is played–I simply cannot proclaim Lincoln’s murderous invaders to represent God Himself. Or any of the rest of it, for that matter.

That is, as we turn over old ground, your characterization of the old South is, in my view, not an argument in your favor–however sound the rest of your argument is on the whole.

But it IS important to return to that old conversation here because this really is the key to the thing, in my estimation. Freedom can only have meaning in the context of self-government, and God’s Law is what it takes if one is going to self-govern. In the movie The Madness of King George, the unhinged George III is told by the physician brought in to try to rescue him from insanity something along the lines of “if you can’t govern yourself, you can’t be expected to govern others.” Quite so. The people of the old South were wonderfully self-governing, for the most part, because the Law of God was acknowledged by all as the central organizing principle of society. Say what you want about England’s curse (slavery), they did the best that could be hoped for when they inherited it.

So what is it going to be, from here on? Is it Kanye West and Marilyn Manson or, God forbid, Mohammed, who will define morality in our future, or the Bible? In our world, today, the unfree people (i.e. almost everyone) will allow the answer to be ANYTHING but Biblical morality. I know that. I am a realist.

And I also know that a stateless society where the people self-govern under a morality defined by Kanye and Marilyn, or God forbid Mohammed, would be true Hell.

        5. Patrick, I am not unfair to the South. I understand that a few longstanding slaveowners were decent. But economics drove that system as much as anything. You do know how important cotton was, do you not? How tobacco farming always played out? The George Washington Parke Custis’s who acknowledged their own mulatto children and settled land on them were few and far between. That he was also the father-in-law of Robert E. Lee, a great man, is of substance in the argument that there were decent men among slaveholders. But people were pushed to sell down the river all the time, and the brutality of those enclaves (along with the denial of human rights all around and no expectations of anything but bad luck) served to motivate abolitionists. Another motivation was Christianity in this, as you say, fallen world. The slave owners usually didn’t provide for people to become Bible readers, but if they did, they were the type who also manumitted them in their wills.

I have had two Southern mothers – my own and my step-mother. Mine came from Maryland/Virginia and had assumptions about social life that the one from Alabama did not have. My step-grandmother was a real FFV and a total liberal in social life. Her son is a famous sociologist and medical ethicist. They are about as Southern as you can get. So no, I know where I am from (my great grandfather was born in antebellum New Orleans and his father died in the War Between the States as they called it).

        6. Wow! Really naïve! People practically become suicidal when they lose their cell phone today. What will happen when they become so dependent on it that they can’t figure out what 2+2 is when the battery goes dead? What happens when the programmer of the phone decides that 2+2=5? Who is to say your cell phone bill won’t be equal to a house payment today? All these things will come to pass I’m sure, but its not going to be utopia. Our chains will still shine. Man will still be Man. I think a lot of people will just give up and let their children be dumbed down. It will ease their pain. They won’t have to endure the disbelief we endure watching all of this go down.

Mom, has my I-phone 900 showed up? You know I’m not going to be able to finish my masters in porn studies without it.
I don’t know Timmy. Go in the incubator and cut us off some steaks from the headless cow for dinner.
I can’t mom, the floor-scalator is broke again! And the doctor said no more walking until I get below 500 lbs. It could hurt my self esteem.

  5. Does anyone remember when the Department of Homeland Security was created to combine all intelligence agencies to make us safer?

The DHS, FBI, CIA & NSA all have separate webpages, all their directors are appointed by the President and there does not appear to be any indication that they work together.

Reviewing the DHS’ budget for 2013, reminded me of the Newtown police reports – the first 8 pages were lovely photos of happy workers! It was 59 billion dollars that year.

Here’s a brief look at the organization charts of it’s 16 major departments. http://www.dhs.gov/department-components

  6. Can we say Anderson Cooper?

Recently, he used his “Ridiculist” to attack a frat that posted two pictures they kept cycling over and over showing them acting out gangster style poses parodying rap music and drinking out of small watermelons to commemorate MLK day at their frat at Arizona State (a notorious party school in which the skateboard is the preferred mode of transportation). The frat has now been kicked out of ASU, probably for other violations(?) over the years. But what Cooper seems to say is that if you veer into parody about sacred cows (and for all I know they are wicked racists – but then, hey, it’s Arizona and they didn’t even have MLK day until it became a federal holiday), if you decide to mimic people who are vetted and allowed to parody gangsta’ rap (Justin Bieber, Eminem) then you have an official pass. Without it, you must be reverent.

I don’t think I’d enjoy this frat, but I don’t like the trampling on First Amendment rights or free expression either. And to me the parody was a mild one – they didn’t play on race but on lifestyle.

Anyway, Cooper is now our moral voice, officially. God help us.

      1. Don’t just change the channel, cancel the cable and satellite. I did five years ago and don’t miss it a bit. If everyone would do same… instant revolution. Some would argue that they would lose touch, become uninformed. Not informed about what? A continuous stream of lies and, disinformation, social engineering, propaganda, and just plain evil. Personally, I have started looking for other things to believe in, because these fools in TV and government are no longer working for me, because I believe most of them to be attention seeking psychopaths. You take away their audience, and their world would be over. Unfortunately, they may go out with a bang, but most likely, a whimper.

        1. Great suggestion, Rich. I am currently at my brother’s who doesn’t have a tv. How refreshing.

  7. Operation Mockingbird in the fifties was the infiltration of the CIA into journalism to mold thought. Nothing has changed and today the mockingbirds in print, radio and TV all echo the same propaganda. The so called “conservative* talking heads may not be CIA plants but they certainly all sing the same song and stay far, far away from touchy subjects – like the fake BC of Obama and his fake selective service registration, Sandy Hook, the Boston bombing. You know that *open line Friday* shtick of one particular person? Where callers can discuss anything they want?? Ha. No, one is not allowed to discuss constitutional issues that deal with Article II.

  8. Interesting that Sen. Frank Church is listed as having a US intelligence role considering he chaired the 1975 Senate Select Committee to Study Governmental Operations with Respect to Intelligence activities. Interesting time, the Doctored/Edited Zapruder film was just released, people were fed up with Vietnam and suspicious of the CIA for all the Domestic Assassinations.

Then G.H.W.Bush is appointed CIA director as an “outsider”, although it has since been revealed he was apparently a career spook in the Agency going back to the 50’s with Dresser Industries and Zapata Offshore. In his brief tenure as Director he gets a letter from George DeMohrenshildt a close personal and family friend asking Bush for help from FBI persecution. DeMohrenshildt was apparently Oswalds “handler” in 62-early 63′. He suicided himself in March 77′. Case closed, I guess.

Intelligence agencies cover all the bases. Damage control, plausible deniability.

    1. DeMogenschild was suicided so that he couldn’t testify at the United States House Select Committee on Assassinations. He wasn’t the only witness to have that fate at that time for that reason.

  9. Hate to be a bore for posting a reminder of what I thought I perceived in the choice of Chechens (of all people) for the phony Marathon bombing. I am sure there is always a grab-bag (no pun intended) of reasons for these incidents, one of which is of course the announcement in Boston that drones will be used to monitor the 2014 Marathon (I’ll try to leave town then and be back in someplace warm like I am now). But the shift as some think happened from perps as white supremacists (not sure that was going to happen) to the current Chechens was, I thought, related to a run-up to a war with Russian ally Iran. I had not taken the Olympics into consideration, not realizing it would be upon us with “Chechen” death threats. But now of course Americans think Chechens are the embodiment of evil.

Okay, so here’s how I think it will go down.

The “terror attack by Chechens” (who knows who will really do it) will show that Russia needs our help. And if it needs our help (because as some say on CNN comments board, we are the world’s expert on fending off terrorism – we got our Chechens didn’t we?) then it cannot partner with Iran against us when we attack Iran (with Israel).

Now who will the “Chechens” actually attack? Will it be us, the Russians or some third country which was just minding its own business?

Isn’t Syria already a proxy war between Russia and the “Islamists”? And oddly enough, we see strange bedfellows among the rebels, huh.

Bottom line, who said the CIA doesn’t act domestically. No, it doesn’t so false flags. Boston wasn’t a false flag. But it does mess with our beliefs and lay a false propaganda trail.

  10. Okay, CIA…..Barack Obama?
This guy’s a complete cipher as far as I can tell. Wayne Madsen Report did a lengthy piece a couple years ago, basically outing him and his family as being CIA. Fairly convincing, yet not a lot of follow up/corroborating evidence.

Then there was the “biography” film Dreams from my Real Father which, despite being a complete garbage documentary, does make an okay circumstantial case for Obama’s father not being who we think, and who may be Frank Marshall Davis. Maybe….

Do the CIA ties exist with Barack Obama or Barry Soe….? How can someone who ran on the idea of transparency in the federal government be so enigmatic? I think the real story of Barack Obama is one of the most important stories waiting to be discovered….Hey, we did a pretty good job deciphering the Sandy Hook Riddle, how ’bout this?

      1. Thanks, I haven’t been able to watch 2016 yet, but I am somewhat familiar with Dsouza’s work/opinions on Obama. I think that it is outrageous that he has been indicted for what amounts to a relatively minor transgression and it definitely appears to be politically motivated.

That said, I don’t really agree with the picture he paints of Obama, as a sort of leftist extreme socialist, anti-colonialist, ect.. I think it would be a lot more accurate to describe him as a Corporatist, rabidly pro Banking establishment and committed to the Neoconservative foreign policy of the previous administration. All of the various attempts to smear Obama as various things by the far right tend to have the effect of disinformation.

He is a person defined by the Myths thrown up around himself and thrown at him, which I think is consistent with someone who emerged from a serious intelligence background.

        1. I agree Leviathan. Obama is no leftist. In today’s political environment, there is no such thing. Also try to pretend that he is a typical baby boomer antiwar type is absurd. He’s a decade or two too young for that. They had to pretend some acquaintance of his was in league with him (Bill Ayers) to bring down the Republic and establish a socialist paradise. Obama has modified some of the outrageous things neocons did, but not reform the government after they left.

      2. I saw that. Campaign finance in this country is ridiculous. They have no trouble catching a 20k infraction(which is most likely unfounded), yet when Obama raised a half of a billion dollars for his 2008 campaign, not an eye was batted. I’m sure it was from dedicated working class folk lined up with their hard earned, and saved 2k donations, as per the legal limit, wanting real hope and change. I will never forget his massive jet with the huge “O” emblazoned on the side.

    1. Lev, absolutely. I suppose you could see Obongo as “taking it to the next level”. Not only does the President have his own private “Praetorian Guard and subversive army”, now that “army” is growing their own “leaders”.

But, of course, they are all someone else’ employees anyway.

  11. This is VERY interesting.

    1. What I’m saying is interesting is that the CIA/FBI uses social groups as cover, and seems to use a bunch of Christian groups. That’s what triggered my waltz down memory lane is I think “they” or somebody was using YWAM and maybe the Catholic school next door, too, as their cover. After looking at all the murals and info about the Denver Airport, I’m thinking there are WAYYY more conspiracies going on than any of us can imagine.

      1. Look into “World Vision.” Ostensibly a Christian organization they have been linked to Mark David Chapman, John Hinkley Jr., whose father was the president of same, and Jonestown.

  12. Most do not understand that what we call “The CIA”, has an official front, and a vast array of “helpers”, worldwide. All of this is funded through a dizzying number of front organizations, phony businesses, charities, etc..

Even within this organization there are factions that maneuver and manipulate and it is entirely doubtful that any single person is ever totally aware of what they are up to.

Basically, they work for themselves and whatever dominant factor is in power. Studying them over the years they are capable of some astounding screw ups. I attribute that to the fact that such organizations attract the unstable and when the going gets tough, the unstable get going.

Since the advent of all the various “security” agencies there is an ongoing war for funding and attention. All of these agencies collect data and only superficially share it with one another. All have their own self-serving plans.

No one seems to be able to get rid of them.

  13. Coming back down to earth from the sometimes spacey conjecture (where roads lead into a mire), I found this video essay by Bill Moyers instructive. Moyers, if nothing, is firmly tethered to a rational approach re politics and socioeconomics. He says the GOP’s attempts to strangle the democratic process is tantamount to a secessionist movement.

That would tie in with the libertarian thrust to reduce government to an entity so small it could be “drowned in a bathtub” (per GOP stalwart and policy wonk, Grover Norquist). States rights–the old mantra of the Reagan campaign–aka “the Southern strategy”– is a by-product of this insular thinking. I admit to supporting certain aspects of conventional conservatism. But only so far. For example, I do not support the South breaking away and forming another country. That seems counter productive. But that may be what some government haters have in mind.
Consider this: what an open field this would be for the new carpetbaggers to plunder at will.

You can’t improve our lot by destroying the tenets of democracy. But maybe I am just old fashioned. There is a fifth column of hidden forces who do not hold with my historical perspectives. Those are the true enemies and it is high time we outed them.
