Parkland Shooting: Revisiting the “David Hogg/’Alex Vieux’ Interview”

“It’s Not Real”

By James F. Tracy

In the wake of the Parkland shooting a handful of individuals pointed to one of many especially glaring discrepancies in the event’s coverage. An odd video depicts an apparent Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School student rehearsing a pro-gun control rant.

She’s doing so at the prompting of David Hogg, the would be high school-attendee and aspiring journalist, on the morning of February 14, 2018. This footage then oddly aired after the “live” Parkland incident that afternoon. To make matters more confusing, the individual goes by “Alex Vieux” in the morning, and “Isabelle Robinson” hours later as the same footage is widely broadcast in the aftermath of the event.

“I really don’t think there’s anything new to say, but there shouldn’t have to be because if you looked around this close and saw everyone just hiding together you would know that this shouldn’t be happening anymore, and that it doesn’t deserve to happen anymore [sic]. And no amount of money should make it more easily accessible to get guns [sic]. Uhm, and that’s that.”

Shortly thereafter the young woman becomes visibly nervous and, when Hogg asks, “Do you want to say anything else?” she demurs from stating her name on camera, “That was more or all articulated in my head.”

David Hogg Scores Book Deal

Publication will “Help Heal the Community”

Two of the young gun-grab heartthrobs from Parkland Florida are being rewarded handsomely for his “reporting” on the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas School. They’ve landed a book deal–or perhaps the book deal landed them?

Entertainment Weekly reports:

David Hogg and Lauren Hogg, students at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School and survivors of February’s deadly mass shooting in Parkland, Florida have signed a deal with Random House for a book to be published in June, EW has confirmed.

The siblings have been leaders in the gun control movement that took shape among students, in the aftermath of the Parkland shooting. Their book, #NeverAgain, is described as “a statement of generational purpose, and a moving portrait of the birth of a new movement.” The book will explore their efforts taking on some of the most powerful forces in Washington and beyond, and will detail their commitment to new legislation aiming to prevent future tragedies.

“In times of struggle and tragedy, we can come together in love and compassion for each other,” David Hogg said in a statement. “We can see each other not as political symbols, but as human beings. And then, of course, there will be times when we simply must fight for what is right.”

Hogg’s most recent escapade involved leading an advertiser boycott of Laura Ingraham’s cable news program because the broadcaster poked fun at the fact that Hogg was only admitted to fourth-tier universities.

NeverAgain is scheduled to be published on June 5. That’s not much time to put a book together, so their ghost writers had better get started!

Vice News = Fake News? (Video)

Commentary on ViceNews’ recent video, “False Flag Hoaxers

(Warning: Profanity)

Editor’s Note: Vice News is a largely anti-journalistic video production company with a clear political agenda. Their most recent production borrows its title from “activist” groups openly seeking to quell free speech through intimidation, cyberstalking, and fraudulent copyright infringement claims. Some of their methods are critiqued in the video below.
