Flordia Governor Ron DeSantis kicked off the annual CPAC Convention Friday morning in Orlando. CPAC is meeting this year in Florida rather than the military zone in Washington DC due to the open business environment in the state.
“Now, Florida’s leading on the issues that matter to conservatives, we don’t spout hollow rhetoric, we take decisive action. And what’s true in Florida it’s true for conservatives across the nation. We cannot. We will not go back to the days of the failed Republican establishment of yesteryear.”
The problem with the American Populist movement is that it was centralized.
Centralized movements give the enemy a central attack vector to target and overcome. One man, who took on the weight of the world, became the sole focus of both the enemy and of the American Populist movement itself for over five years.
The oligarchs removed that one man from the entire internet, then they removed him from office. Everyone knows this, we all watched it happen. What no one has clearly defined is where American Populism goes from here.
The oligarchs believe that they have destroyed American Populism by rigging an election, removing the movement’s leader from public view, and by forcing everyone to stay locked inside for a year while the country burns down around us all.
FOTM has been an ally of and inspiration for MHB for many years. We are saddened to see it cease publication, yet at the same time understand that decision.-Ed.

“Ah, what an age it is When to speak of trees is almost a crime For it is a kind of silence against injustice.” –Bertolt Brecht (1898-1956)
In my professional life, I had specialized in the study of totalitarian Marxist-Leninist states wherein citizens were denied fundamental freedoms of speech, publication, assembly and religion. I never thought or even dreamt that the United States of America could devolve into that, but that is exactly what is happening in this former bastion of liberty.
For years now, the Left relentlessly had succeeded in warping American schools, universities, journalism, social media, Hollywood, and culture. Now, in the name of the COVID-19 pandemic, Americans are quarantined and locked down in their homes, barred from attending church services, and mandated to cover their faces with masks or they would be denied admission into grocery stores to purchase the food to feed themselves and their families.

The pending military stand-down to address “extremism in the ranks” may bring results that go beyond what Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin expected to achieve, according to active duty service members who are scheduled to attend the mandatory sessions.
Austin on Friday ordered all uniformed and civilian leaders in the Defense Department to set aside a day soon to discuss “impermissible behaviors” related to extremism.
Support of America’s 45th President may soon be “domestic terrorism”
There is a campaign emerging in Washington DC and within the leftist circles to label Trump supporters and critics of the corrupt 2020 presidential election fraud as domestic terrorists, which could potentially justify using military tactics against such political enemies, akin to how alleged foreign “terrorists” were taken out by drone strikes during the George W. Bush and Obama administrations’ “war on terror” abroad. MSNBC’s Nicole Wallace suggests as much in a recent remark on that network.
But this isn’t simply the ramblings of yet another cable news talking head. As the Democrat Congress was debating to strip Republican Marjorie Taylor Greene of her committee positions, the Washington Postreports on a serious debate in Congress over probable legislation that will formalize a US government declaration of war on Trump supporters:
Fox News host Tucker Carlson said on Tuesday night that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’s Big Tech crackdown will likely set the standard for the rest of the country.
Governor DeSantis announced on Tuesday sweeping action against Big Tech companies, designed to tackle rampant censorship from them, which has mostly been targeted against conservatives and supporters of President Trump. As National File reported:
Targets Political Social Media Giants’ Political Censorship

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) has taken bold action against Big Tech – announcing several measures to counter widespread censorship of conservatives and promote the free exchange of information.
As reported by Breitbart‘s Allum Bokhari, the measures – announced on Tuesday in a 45-minute speech – include mandatory opt-outs on content filters for Floridians, fines, and grants residents the ability to sue over censorship.
One of President Biden’s recent actions was abolishing the previous administration’s 1776 Commission. But what was the 1776 Commission? The person who spearheaded the project spoke with The Epoch Times’ American Thought Leaders program about the commission and why it was created.
During the 4:00 p.m. Eastern hour on Inauguration Day, MSNBC devolved into one of venom and a wish-list for punishing conservative media, elected Republicans, and right-leaning Americans nationwide, all under the guise of the January 6 terror attack by Trump supporters on the Capitol.
Host Nicolle Wallace partnered with former Obama officials John Brennan and Ben Rhodes and former Senator Claire McCaskill (D-MO) to declare it will take “years” for a “detox” of “lies” and “hate” from the right and “libertarians” with the resources of federal intelligence and law enforcement agencies.
And at one point, Wallace insisted the right will have to prove they’ll “assert the truth” before being “allowed to share any other views.”
We are moving fast down that slippery slope to an authoritarian society in which the only opinions, ideas and speech expressed are the ones permitted by the government and its corporate cohorts.
In the wake of the Jan. 6 riots at the Capitol, “domestic terrorism” has become the new poster child for expanding the government’s powers at the expense of civil liberties.
Of course, “domestic terrorist” is just the latest bull’s eye phrase, to be used interchangeably with “anti-government,” “extremist” and “terrorist,” to describe anyone who might fall somewhere on a very broad spectrum of viewpoints that could be considered “dangerous.”
Watch and see: we are all about to become enemies of the state.
A 12-point summary of the 1965 essay, “Repressive Tolerance” by philosopher and sociologist Herbert Marcuse, teacher and mentor of Angela Davis (a founder of modern “antiracism” movement).
Editor’s Note: Much of Marcuse and the Frankfurt School’s oeuvre is based on Sigmund Freud work, the famous Viennese “founder of psychiatry,” who orchestrated what was effectively a cult around his teachings, many of which served to justify his own sexual perversions.
Well this is alarming and ominous to say the least… Former CIA Director John Brennan told MSNBC in an interview on inauguration day that the intelligence community under newly sworn in President Biden is “moving in laser-like fashion” to try and uncover dangerous plots against the country.
Naturally, there’s been much of this worrisome commentary about what political ideologies should be targeted and monitored coming out of NatSec hawks in the wake of the Capitol Hill mayhem of January 6. But this is the first time such a broad array of groups have been so bluntly lumped into a Pro-Trump “insurgency” by an influential media pundit and former spook. Brennan expressly said they are “violent” and remain a domestic threat.
