Is “gun control” in reality targeting Christian (i.e. Catholic) “idolators”?

Embedded in an otherwise tedious, irrational and predictably anti-American, anti-gun screed, a jewish-penned article advocating gun control admitted that according to the jewish “holy” book, The Talmud, Christian ‘idolators’ should be barred from buying guns:

The Rabbinical Assembly calls upon the public to rise up with one voice and take three simple actions during this legislative session:

-Urge your senators to support the Background Check Expansion Act (S. 42), which closes the loophole that allows individuals and unlicensed gun sellers to sell guns without first performing a background check.
-Urge your senators and representatives to support the Extreme Risk Protection Order Act of 2019 (S 506 or HR 1236). These bills allow family or law enforcement to petition in court for permission to remove weapons from people who are known to be a threat to others or themselves.
-Urge your senators and representatives to support the first funding for research on gun violence in many years: Gun Violence Prevention Research Act (S 184), or Gun Violence Prevention Research Act of 2019 (H.R. 674), or National Gun Violence Research Act (HR 435). The first step to saving lives from gun violence is establishing the facts.

Our [jewish] tradition provides ample support for such measures.

The Talmud forbids selling weapons to idolaters or to sell weapons in a city of refuge (Avodah Zarah 15b, Makkot 10a).  These cities were populated by criminals, and our sages rightly recognized the dangers of selling weapons to those who cannot be trusted with the responsibility of owning them.

As rabbis too often called to comfort mourners, we grieve with all the parents of slain children, the children of slain parents, and the family members, the friends, neighbors, and communities of those gunned down. They are all our children, family members, friends, and neighbors, and we pledge not to stand idly by their blood.

Guns in the hands of those who should not have them affect all of us as neighbors across America.

When mass shootings don’t make the headlines, the human cost of gun violence remains largely out of sight and out of mind. But nothing evades God’s notice. Jewish tradition affirms that God is the One who remembers the Forgotten. It is the task of rabbis and other faith leaders to testify on behalf of those whom God remembers, those whose lives have been needlessly lost.

This is a moment we can save lives.  This is a moment when we can effect change.  Let us not squander the moment, but learn and act.

The ancient rabbis taught that if you save one life — just one life — it is as if you have saved the whole world. We have many lives we can save.  Enough of doing nothing.

NY Representative Jerrold Nadler, who is leading the Democratic Party’s gun control efforts in Congress, is well-known for his knowledge of the Talmud.

Under the jewish Noahide Laws, which were first officially recognized by the U.S. Congress in 1991 and have been reaffirmed as the basis of all U.S. law since then, ‘idolators’ can be put to death, and since Talmudic Jews consider Christians ‘idolators’ for worshiping a false God, they have essentially advocated for a legal process by which Christians could be executed in America for their beliefs.

And now we find that The Talmud forbids ‘idolators’ (i.e., Christians) from owning guns, and under these Noahide Laws, Christians should be disarmed to protect the lives of city-dwelling Jews.

Of course, the “ancient rabbis” did claim that if you “save one life, you’ve saved the whole world,” but the part they conveniently leave out is that they are only talking about Jewish lives, and if you save the life of only one Jew, it’s as if you’ve saved all Jews in the world.

And that is why Jews don’t want non-Jews the right to own guns; disarmed Christian ‘idolators’ are far less likely to have the ability to challenge jewish power in America.  This rabbinical plan to disarm America unfortunately will no doubt backfire by creating even more “antisemtism” and thereby make Jews feel even more unsafe.

Perhaps it’s not in the best interests of Jews in general to consult these “learned” rabbis  on the gun control issue after all.

  1. Could part of the reason for the ongoing conflicts in the Middle East be found in the following?

“Strictly speaking, it is incorrect to call an ancient Israelite a ‘Jew’ or to call a contemporary Jew an ‘Israelite’ or a ‘Hebrew.’” (Richard Siegel and Carl Rheins, eds., “Identity Crisis,” The Jewish Almanac, (New York, NY: Bantam Books, 1980) p. 3.)

That sentence is the opening sentence of the First Chapter entitled “IDENTITY CRISIS” of the 1980 Jewish Almanac. That today’s Jews are not genetic Israelites is also admitted in “The Jewish Encyclopedia,”
the “Enyclopedia Judaica,” “The Universal Jewish Encyclopedia,” “The Standard Jewish Encyclopedia,” and by many of their historians.

According to three Jewish encyclopedias and Flavius Josephus, the entire Edomite nation was forced into converting to Judaism and became known as Judahites at the time of the high priest John Hyrcanus (Maccabaeus):

“…in the days of John Hyrcanus (end of the second century B.C.E.) … the Edomites became a section of the Jewish people.” (“Edom,” Encyclopaedia Judaica (Jerusalem, Israel: Encyclopaedia Judaica Company, 1971) Volume 6, p. 378.)

“They were then incorporated with the Jewish nation….” (“Edom, Idumea,” The Jewish Encyclopedia (New York & London: Funk and Wagnalls Company, 1904) Volume V, p. 41.)

“…from then on they constituted a part of the Jewish people, Herod [King of Judea] being one of their descendants.” (Cecil Roth and Geoffrey Wigoden, “Edom (Idumea),” The New Standard Jewish Encyclopedia (Garden City, NY: Doubleday & Company, Inc., 1977) p. 589.

“…they submitted to the use of circumcision, and the rest of the Jewish ways of living; at which time … they were hereafter no other than Jews.” (Flavius Josephus, “The Antiquities of the Jews,” Josephus, (Grand Rapids, MI: Kregel Publications, 1960) Book XIII, Chapter IX, Verse 1, p. 279.)

We keep hearing that if we don’t bless the modern State of Israel (which America has been doing since at least 1948) that we will be cursed. However, it seems it’s been just the opposite, Since 1948, you name it, and there’s not an area in America wherein she hasn’t become worse off. Could the reason have something to do with the fact we’ve identified the wrong people as being Israel. See Revelation 2:9 and 3:9.

Today’s non-Israelite Jews are not the only one with an identity problem. See free online book “The Mystery of the Gentiles: Where Are They and Where Are They Now?” at http://www.missiontoisrael.org/mystery-of-gentiles/index.php.

  2. It’s funny how these same individuals who are the ‘Chosen ones’ don’t believe that their god will protect them from evil. Or bad Americans with gun. Those pesky freedom loving folks with their guns.
