On Trip to Protest Release of GMO Mosquitoes

On Tuesday, April 10 Washington DC authorities recovered the body of Key West-based environmental activist Milagro de Mier from the pool of a hotel close to the DC Convention Center . de Mier was in the nation’s capital to raise awareness and petition the US Food and Drug Administration and Environmental Protection Agency on a British biotech company’s plan to release 50 million genetically-modified mosquitoes in Florida and Texas on a weekly basis.
The environmental activist and real estate agent was 45, and the mother of three. “These GMO mosquitoes could pose major risks to fragile ecosystems like the Florida Keys and Texas,” de Mier argued on the page of her Change.org petition, “and may pose risks to public health and safety.
Fox News5 reports on April 10:
Authorities said they were called to the Cambria Hotel & Suites Washington, D.C. Convention Center in the 890 block of O Street, NW at about 9:40 a.m.
According to a police report, a witness found an unconscious woman floating inside the rooftop pool and called 911.
When emergency crews responded to the scene they found the woman facedown and attempted to revive her but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities later identified the woman as 45-year-old Milagro Demier of Key West, Florida.
Detectives said a death investigation was underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the drowning. No other details were immediately available.
Milagro “Mila” De Mier petition at Change.org encourages people to publicly voice their concern to the FDA and Environmental Protection Agency during a “public comment period” on Oxitec’s mosquito release, which ended April 9. The petition had recently exceeded over 190,000 signatures.
De Mier describes the campaign at Change.org:
Right now, a British company named Oxitec is planning to release genetically modified mosquitoes into the fragile enviroment of the Florida Keys and Texas. The company wants to use the Florida Keys and Texas as a testing ground for these mutant bugs. Even though the local community in the Florida Keys has spoken — we even passed an ordinance demanding more testing — First , Oxitec is trying to use a loophole by applying to the FDA for an “animal bug” patent. Now, the hot potato has passed to the EPA and Oxitec is at it again. This profit driven biotech company wants to release more than 50 million GMO mosquitoes per week into Florida and Texas. These GMO mosquitoes could pose major risks to fragile ecosystems like the Florida Keys and Texas and may pose risks to public health and safety.
De Mier continues to explain the uncertain nature of Oxitec’s experiment, pointing to how the biotech’s
GMO Mosquitoes are created with E-Coli bacteria, herpes-simplex virus and other ingredients. This is very premature technology with very little information, a lot of questions need to be answer[ed].
The Center for Disease Control notes that Oxitec’s trials are not set up to test for disease reduction. If the experiments goes forward, there would still be enough non-GMO mosquitoes in the environment, including in peoples’ homes and backyards, to spread disease.
With her petition picking up steam and the EPA’s public comment period ending, de Mier’s recent Tweets indicate that she was on her way to the EPA in person to request that EPA Director Scott Pruitt extend the time for public comment on the mosquito release another 60 days.

__Parkland “star” David Hogg was recently quoted as saying he hoped “mosquitos would kill billions of people.” > Seen in a comment at FOTM within the last week or so. Then the Oxitec FL/TX Mosquitos story breaks a few days later. And now this lady’s death!
__And who believes, anyway, that these billions of mosquitos scheduled for 2 “red states” are for the common good? Precedent would say otherwise.

Testing via Mosquito Vector in Punta Gorda, Florida
A report from The New England Journal of Medicine reveals that one of the first outbreaks of chronic fatigue syndrome was in Punta Gorda, Florida, back in 1957.(10) It was a strange coincidence that a week before these people came down with chronic fatigue syndrome, there was a huge influx of mosquitoes.
The National Institutes of Health claimed that the mosquitoes came from a forest fire 30 miles away. The truth is that those mosquitoes were infected in Canada by Dr. Guilford B. Reed at Queen’s University. They were bred in Belleville, Ontario, and taken down to Punta Gorda and released there.
Within a week, the first five cases ever of chronic fatigue syndrome were reported to the local clinic in Punta Gorda. The cases kept coming until finally 450 people were ill with the disease.

Hollywood telegraphs many bad things coming our way in allegory form… it’s “Hollywooded up” … to be more exciting and therefore more interesting than real life. Is it not fascinating that the author of Hunger Games was from Newtown? The story line of Hunger Games is 24 children fight to the death from 12 districts that are Vassel states held in bondage by poverty and a despotism. What has 12 districts in real life? The Federal Reserve of course. What did Alan Greenspan say about the government? They are irrelevant to the Gods that control the flow and creation of the almighty dollar. The elites in Washington live lives of extravagance and leisure on the backs of miners, farmers, etc. not that different than Capitol City in the Hunger Games.

When I heard this news I was shocked, I Met Mila a few times and she was always nice to me. I worked by one of her properties and she would come and talk . I don’t know Keith much, Right now My Wife (Angela Richardson) left me for HIM and they are now living together at Milas house and he is Activily trying to push her to take the business I built away from me and get a divorce. The same he is trying to do to Milas Family. How fast people move on. He Recently hired my wife and they formed a relationship. After weeks of her not coming home at night and me worrying. I found out She been Cheating on Me with him .Keith helped her move to MIlas House with my 4 year old daughter without telling me where she was, but recently returned her to the nanny in Orlando . So she can Live with Keith and me not find out. This just happened recently as of this past 2 weeks. We are Getting A Divorce as he has broke up our marriage. And now my Child will suffer and have a broken home. My wife Posted photos on her Instagram in Milas Backyard , Saying how happy she is , Well I hope you Guys are Happy! Just leave my Business Alone and Milas! If Keith doesn’t Know what he is getting into , He will find out soon , She has been Lying to Him about her situation. She told me she was living in a shelter and asking me for $ But I found the truth. I know this is a memorial , But now this all sounds so suspicious .
