News reportage of mass shooting events over the past several years has changed markedly from coverage of such incidents just a few decades ago. Some media critics and researchers have pointed to mass shootings, including those transpiring on January 8, 2011 in Tucson Arizona, July 20, 2012 in Aurora Colorado, December 14, 2012 in Newtown Connecticut, and the recent October 1, 2015 event at Umpqua Community College in Roseburg Oregon, to suggest that these incidents may have been partly contrived with involvement of federal authorities. They reinforce their arguments with an impressive array of conflicting media reports and unrealistic “official” narratives concerning these events as potential evidence of government deception.

President Obama addresses the nation four hours after the mass shooting event at Umpqua Community College in Roseburg, Oregon on October 1, 2015

Whether or not such claims are true, there can be no doubt that each referenced event has been inordinately sensationalized by corporate news media and national political leaders to advocate for stricter gun control, mental health, and police state measures, even though criminologists maintain that the number of mass shootings has not increased since the 1990s.[1]

Like the curious 1995 mass shootings in Dunblane Scotland and Port Arthur Australia—events capitalized on by political leaders in those countries to pass harsh gun control measures and expressly invoked by President Obama just hours after the Roseburg shooting—researchers and independent news media point to a potential agenda behind the intense publicization of mass shootings throughout the United States.

As this author has argued, although it may seem an extravagant assertion, one must ponder whether there is sufficient reason to consider whether certain US government agencies are involved “creating” or embellishing some of these mass shooting incidents. One need look no further than the history of Operation Gladio, or FBI involvement in the “manufacture” of terror events, documented respectively by scholar Daniele Ganser and journalist Trevor Aaronson, to conclude that a lavishly-funded military-intelligence-media complex has for at least forty years demonstrated a sheer contempt toward the Western body politic that has in some instances resulted in mass murder.[2]

A hypothesis may be at least partly demonstrated that a similar dynamic holds true for mass shootings through careful analysis of news coverage on such events transpiring prior to the heavy federal involvement in local and regional law enforcement and specific shooting incidents that have only intensified in the 14-year purported “war on terror.”

The following preliminary examination suggests how the news consuming public was afforded much more lucid and enduring depictions of mass shootings by journalists in past decades. In other words, many years before internet technology became essential to assembling stories, journalists reported accurate and demonstrable facts to their readerships on mass shooting crime scenes and their dynamics in very short order, giving the reader abundant and consistent information to understand what really happened in such tragic events.

Reportage on mass shootings in the 1990s and prior is at significant variance with how such incidents are presented today. For example, in corporate news coverage of the December 14, 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre, integral facets of the story changed in the immediate wake of the event. Conflicting information surrounded how the shooter gained entrance to the school’s interior, what weapons the shooter employed in his attack, the types of wounds the victims sustained, even the identity of the assailant and nature of the emergency response, all of which are fundamental features of a criminal investigation that in many past instances were quickly and unambiguously relayed to the public.

Similar features have plagued coverage of many other US mass shootings in recent years. At the Aurora Colorado theatre shooting in 2012 some eyewitnesses came forward to contend how there were two or more culprits involved—a claim contradicting the official narrative that one James Holmes was the sole assailant. Further, Aurora police chief Dan Oates told reporters immediately following the event that officers responded to the incident and apprehended Holmes in 90 seconds—a remarkably short time given the event’s almost certain chaos. Oates then states that his personnel eschewed ambulance service for injured parties, transporting the wounded to local hospitals in police cars—a startling and implausible admission by a leading law enforcement official with clear implications for negligence and probable civil liability.

Further, despite the movie theater being equipped with an extensive network of state-of-the-art video surveillance, to date no video footage has been released to the public that James Holmes was inside or for that matter anywhere near the premises in the period leading up to the shooting. Along these lines, one eyewitness, Corbin Dates, asserted in several interviews with major media that there was more than one individual involved in the shooting—none of whom resembled Holmes.

Coverage of and emergency response to the October 2015 Umpqua Community College shooting was similarly bizarre. “Early media reports stated that a 20-year-old male had fatally shot at least 13 people,” 21st Century Wire’s Shawn Helton writes, “but that was later downgraded to 10 fatalities including the gunman, with another seven injured before being changed again to 10 killed and nine wounded at the UCC campus. Eventually, the suspected gunman turned out to be 26-year old Chris Harper Mercer, who we were told repeatedly had been ‘neutralized’ (shot) by police during a gun battle on campus. However, 48-72 hours later, it was revealed that the ‘lone gunman’ Harper Mercer had committed suicide, dying of a self-inflicted gunshot.”

The above inconsistencies and implausible features in official narratives of US mass shootings resound in those listed below. Such contradictions are repeated almost without question by corporate news media.

The question remains, have such anomalies and informational lacunae characterized official pronouncements of major mass shooting incidents before federal law enforcement agencies became so heavily involved in processing crime scenes and advising local police and emergency response services?Journalistic coverage of three significant mass shootings where federal involvement is absent is presented below to argue that more recent mass shooting events possessing curious and seemingly inexplicable features in fact require far closer scrutiny from capable intellects and the broader public than they have thus far received.

University of Texas Shooting – 1966

Austin policeman returning fire during August 1, 1966 UT shooting

The most well-known mass shooting in US history took place at midday on August 1, 1966 when 25-year-old Charles J. Whitman terrorized the University of Texas at Austin’s campus from the observation ledge of the 27-story UT Tower, utilizing an array of rifles to shoot 45 pedestrians, 12 fatally. On August 2 the New York Times ran two comprehensive reports of the event, detailing the horror though police and eyewitness testimony. “Students, professors and visitors ran for cover,” United Press International reporters wrote from the scene.

In the story’s initial paragraphs the reader is apprised of the event’s resolution: “An off-duty policeman, Romero Martinez, who had responded to a call on his radio, inched his way around a wall at the top of the tower and fired six bullets into the sniper with his service revolver after the sniper shot at him.”

The shooting is rendered more vivid through testimony from an array of traumatized witnesses relating their experiences.

”Denver Dolman, who operated a bookstore at the edge of the campus, said a young Negro student was riding his bicycle toward the Texas Union Building … The bicycle wavered and the boy appeared to fall onto the sidewalk.”

“John Scott Allen, 18, a freshman, was watching. A bullet smashed through a window and struck him in the right forearm.”

“Leland Ammons, a law student, was standing beside Billy Speed, a policeman, when Mr. Speed was shot.”

“Ruth Kiykendall, who works on the 18th floor of the tower, called to a friend in a building nearby. ’Somebody’s up here shooting in the tower,’ she gasped. ’There is blood all over the place.”

Austin Police Chief R. A. Miles explained that Whitman murdered his wife and mother in the lead-up to the mass shooting. “Hours later, Chief Miles said, Whitman took a trunkful of guns, food, and water to the top of the university landmark,” the story reads.

Several photographs augment the prose, including those of policeman Speed being carried away, and another presenting and describing in detail the “weapons found on” the “observation platform of the university tower … a 6 mm rifle with telescopic sight, a Remington .35-caliber rifle, a 12-guage sawed off shotgun, a carbine, a 9 mm Luger and a .357 Magnum pistol.”[3]

On August 3 the New York Times carried followup stories that included excerpts from candid interviews with Whitman’s immediate family, a reproduction of notes from Whitman’s psychiatrist, and a detailed consideration of remarks from expert physicians on the potential role played by a pecan-sized brain tumor found during Whitman’s postmortem examination. All such content was unambiguously presented to the public in less than 48 hours via the nation’s “paper of record,” and remains as evidence of how such horrific events were chronicled in recent US history.[4]

University of Iowa Shooting – 1991

Indeed, the initial historical record established by journalists on the scene suggests that specific and unequivocal information on other US mass shootings has been speedily related to the people. For instance, in the late afternoon of Friday, November 1, 1991 Gang Lu, a doctoral candidate studying physics at the University of Iowa, shot and killed four colleagues and wounded a college administrator and her assistant, the former dying of her injuries the following day. On November 2 the New York Times ran a story including eyewitness accounts and statements from university and area law enforcement officials describing how the event played out and suggesting Lu’s possible motivations.

“A university spokeswoman , Ann Rhodes, said the student, Gang Lu … methodically searched out his victims. He had been disgruntled over his failure to receive an academic award for his doctoral dissertation, she said.”

The story continues to succinctly lay out the event’s chronology and resolution—each of which, if we are to conclude that the Times reporter was working on a deadline for the paper’s November 2 late edition, were ascertained and related to the press within hours.

A dreary, snowy school day had just begun to wind down when the shootings began at about 3:40 P.M. University officials and the police said the gunman came upon a group of students and professors in Van Allen Hall, the physics department’s building, and killed the four men [three professors and a graduate student colleague] without saying a word.”

The professors had each been involved in Mr. Gang’s doctoral work, and the researcher had been a rival for the honor he sought, Ms. Rhodes said.

Mr. Gang then stalked out of the building and ran two blocks to Jessup Hall, the main administration building, which faces the campus common. There he injured the women in the office of academic affairs, where he had recently filed a complaint.

The video below provides an overview of area police response to the shooting.

“The shootings lasted 10 to 15 minutes, said Iowa City’s Police Chief R. J. Winkelhake. Campus police officers responding to the shots found Mr. Gang about 10 minutes later, sprawled on an office floor beside a .38-caliber revolver. ‘He was alive at the time but with serious head wounds,’ Chief Winkelhake said.”[5]

As in coverage of the UT Austin shooting, less than 48 hours later the Times elaborated on the investigation in a subsequent report, drawing on the observations of university and local police; no federal agencies or officials appear present.

The discovery of five of Mr. Lu’s letters after the shootings has convinced investigators here that he had detailed plans to inflict deadly violence on a number of university employees,” Johnson County District Attorney J. Patrick White explained at a November 3 press conference.

Joined by the University of Iowa’s president, Hunter R. Rawling 3d, and other university officials, Mr. White today painted a portrait of a darkly disturbed man who drove himself to success and to destruction.

Despite the perception of Mr. Lu among those who knew him as an outstanding scholar in theoretical space physics, Mr. White indicated that there was a sinister edge to Mr. Lu’s character well before the shootings.

In the letters … Mr. Lu reportedly named his victims, said William Fuhrmeister, the university’s public safety director. None of the letters were ever mailed, the authorities said. Mr. Fuhrmeister, the university’s public safety director, said Mr. Lu had left instructions with acquaintances to mail the letters. The letters were apparently turned over to the authorities after the shootings.

In the letters, other targets besides the six shooting victims were also named Mr. White said, but he and other officials refused to disclose their identities.

Other credible sources are on the record, further describing how the event was experienced. “Dr. Van Allen,” for example, “a professor emeritus of physics, was in the building when the shooting began at 3:42 P.M. ‘I didn’t hear anything,’ he said. “I was up on the seventh floor doing some work. At about 3:45 P.M. a young colleague of mine dashed into the office and said, ‘I recommend you don’t open the door until I hear it’s O.K.’”[6]

Unlike the hastily organized memorials following recent college shootings that curiously take place on the same day, Iowa’s university-wide service at the campus’ basketball arena was not held until November 7–almost a week after the shooting.[7]

Stockton Elementary School Shooting – 1989

Details of other school shootings from years preceding the war on terror era are likewise swiftly and accurately provided in conventional news coverage, typically relying on eyewitness testimony and remarks from law enforcement and emergency response officials concerning the investigation and event.

On January 17, 1989, Patrick Purdy, a 24-year-old incorrigible with a substantial criminal record, brandished an AK-47 rifle to attack 400 to 500 Southeast Asian refugee children playing outside the Cleveland Elementary School in Stockton California. A total of 30 sustained injuries and five of the children perished in addition to the gunman, who committed suicide following the assault. “‘He was just standing there with a gun, making wide sweeps,’” according to teacher Lori Mackey. “She said she ran to her classroom window when she heard what she thought were firecrackers, and saw a man standing in the schoolyard, spraying gunfire … ‘There was mass chaos. There were kids running in every direction,’” Mackey said.

A wounded child attended to by a San Joaquin County EMS worker outside the Cleveland Elementary School in Stockton California on January 17, 1989.

“There were a dozen students lying on the ground,” an 11-year-old mother of a Cleveland Elementary student told reporters. “‘It was very frightening.” “Ramon Billed 3d, a student, described seeing a schoolmate shot. ‘I just saw him fall down,’ Ramon said. ‘His head hit the ground. the teacher grabbed him and dragged him inside the other classroom’ … Another pupil, Roberto Costa said the shooting started during his reading class. ‘The bullets were hitting the walls,’ he said. ‘Everybody got scared.’” A passerby “heard gunfire and ran to the scene. ‘I tried to get a pulse, couldn’t get a pulse,’ he said, referring to a pupil. ‘I was hoping an ambulance would show up. It seemed to take forever.’”

Again, in less than 24 hours reporters recorded the event, the background of the shooter and his every essential movement on the scene, even the number of bullets fired and the property damage caused via information from those assembling the criminal investigation and the recollections bystanders. “He opened fire on the westside of a group of portable classrooms,” AP writers noted,

then moved to the east side and continued firing across the blacktop where children were playing toward the main building about 250 yards away, [Deputy Police] Chief [Lucian] Neely said. He was no closer than that when he shot himself in the head. About 60 rounds were fired; in some cases the bullets went completely through the main school’s building and came out the other side to fall spent on the L-shaped school’s front lawn, Chief Neely said.[8]

In followup coverage the crime scene is described via on-site accounts. “Overnight, workmen patched the 60 or so bullet holes in the south wall of the brown stucco building and scrubbed out bloodstains. But only about a quarter of the 970 pupils showed up.”

The assailant’s approximate movements in the prelude to the shooting are also recorded.

On Tuesday, just before noon, [Purdy] arrived at the Cleveland School in his 1977 Chevrolet station wagon, burned the car with a molotov cocktail in a Budweiser bottle and walked onto the crowded school grounds. There he opened fire. He shot at least 106 rounds. “He was not aiming as much as spraying,” said Captain [Dennis] Perry of the Stockton Police Department. Children began to crumple. The shooting lasted about two minutes. Then Mr. Purdy put the pistol to his right temple and fell dead against a school wall.[9]

Concluding Observations

Journalists covering mass shootings twenty or more years ago usually relied predominantly on local police officials and eyewitness accounts to chronicle such events. Information related in such reportage was consistent and accurate in nature, and was quickly related to the reading public. Such reports were produced at a time when news organizations often had only telephone and facsimile to gather content. In light of the above, and in particular the fact that we now live in an internet-fueled “information age,” how can one account for the the almost uniformly poor and sometimes cartoonish reportage of today’s mass shootings?

The overall coverage of shootings since at least 2011 has become unreliable and slipshod, with the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre the foremost example of ambiguous, confusing and ultimately irresponsible reportage largely based on state and federal law enforcement officials commenting under the cover of anonymity. Federal agency involvement in homicide and similar crime investigations no doubt tends toward the potential politicization of such events. This is particularly the case as the leadership of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco Firearms and Explosives, and similar entities is appointed by the given presidential administration. Such bureaucrats understandably recognize their allegiance to this political power and are readily appease its given agendas.

Clear examples of federal interference in local and regional criminal investigations and attendant press censorship may be found in the major political assassinations of the 1960s, in particular the murders of President John F. Kennedy and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., where significant public confusion still abounds. More recently, the 1995 bombing of the Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City suggests a juncture where federal intervention became increasingly commonplace, ultimately transforming the narrative of that event and how it is called up in popular memory; from a demonstrable government “false flag” attack to a strike against America’s heartland by the enemy within–an unstable, anti-government drifter, comprising the template for the so-called “lone wolf,” a now commonplace term in US police state parlance.

Hungry for information to develop stories under deadlines and editorial pressure, journalists are effectively incapable of questioning the pronouncement of official sources. Fearful of alienating powerful relayers of information, they place in abeyance their commonsense discernment of what may or may not be plausible to a situation where their understanding and expertise is limited. This is all the more reason for the concerned citizen to take heed. The plethora of recent mass shootings and array of disorienting news accounts accompanying each should be carefully considered, particularly in light of the more trustworthy and consistent journalism of such tragic events from the 1990s and prior, a journalism far less subject to disinformation and unclouded by prevailing political agendas and goals.

  1. “According to the FBI, the term “mass murder” has been defined generally as a multiple homicide incident in which four or more victims are murdered, within one event, and in one or more locations in close geographical proximity. Based on this definition, for the purposes of this report, “mass shooting” is defined as a multiple homicide incident in which four or more victims are murdered with firearms, within one event, and in one or more locations in close proximity. Similarly, a “mass public shooting” is defined to mean a multiple homicide incident in which four or more victims are murdered with firearms, within one event, in at least one or more public locations, such as, a workplace, school, restaurant, house of worship, neighborhood, or other public setting.”

Footnote 1 to this articles reveals that both this article and Congress have drinken the Cool Aid by blindly assuming that the “4 fatality” rule, arbitrarily established a few years back by the FBI, is anything more than pure propaganda. This mass shooting “definition” conveniently and sharply eliminates many mass shootings, some of which were examined on this blog (e.g., Myron May, Vester Flanagan). If an active shooter is thwarted or otherwise ends up killing less than four souls, how does a re-definition by the FBI, adopted by Congress, et. al., change the fact that this person is a mass shooter? The intent is the same when less than four die, as is the motive or lack thereof. I suggest anyone seriously trying to analyze this problem start by questioning the politicized motives of the FBI in re-defining a crime which lead to markedly lower “results”.

Here is a more serious attempt to examine the recent marked increase in the active shooter phenomenon than the politicized Congressional study cited in footnote 1 of this article:

  2. It is my suspicion that these larger “mass shooting” incidents dealt with in the article are only the larger ones garnering national attention and that there have been a great many more such scams on a smaller scale, some claiming deaths but some only involving guns in some way, using local/regional LE and local/regional news organizations. The depth and breadth of evil is beyond comprehension.

    1. “The depth and breadth of evil is beyond comprehension.”

It truly is BigTim. The god of this world would have it no other way. However, never forget that the opposite is also true. The depth and breadth of Christ’s love for His creation is beyond human ability to measure.

Romans 8:38-39… “For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

This dispensation of Gods free grace to man which we live in is a two-sided coin. On the one side we have absolute salvation free and clear of any works whatsoever simply by believing that Christ died for our sin. On the other side mankind is freed to pursue his most selfish wants and desires without fear of immediate Divine consequence.

God is not imputing mans trespasses unto man; He is offering sinful man one last chance at salvation before free grace is ended and His wrath is poured out on a most deserving world (2 Cor 5:14-21 KJB).

  3. What about blood? Some claim there should be more pics of blood and such in current (likely staged) massacres. I’ve never found that to be particularly convincing of an event being staged, but then again I don’t know what should really be expected. Does anyone know of how common bloodier pictures were historically?

  4. Charles Whitman may have been one of the first MK-Ultra experiments in a random event. Sirhan Sirhan to follow. Whether Charlie actually was the shooter or stooge (oswald) is unknown. What I know is that Charlies brother John was gunned down in my home town in Florida in 73. I knew that when Patrick died of AIDS, that the family was being exterminated because of what they knew.

It follows the Kennedy model pretty well. We knew John had suspicions of the 66 event and he was likely “Jack Ruby’d” in the end. The whole Whitman ordeal is as phony as JFK. What will ever come to light is unknown but what we do know is that the ‘official’ versions are artifact of the social engineering complex. Jade Helm masters the media and controls the human domain.

Hillary Clinton gave a great performance in NH giving details of some scripted events in her gun control campaign stump. Unlike Benghazi where as she said, what difference does it make, regarding the details of the event. The reality masters would love to invoke this on all these shootings but those of us with even half a brain can see the agenda, consistencies, serendipity and concomitant narratives that connect all of them to the Hegelian Dialectic for a new Orwellian order.

    1. I highly agree with you Puddy, I’ll dig another rabbit hole for you; the large scale mass media mind rape of Americans had it prep work done on a international level in the Jonestown massacre back in 1978, and my uncle knew the unpopular pathologist Dr.Leslie MooToo.

What really pathetic is that most people still believe this event was a mass suicide .

      1. Ted, the Church Committee forced CIA to take their operations offshore to Guyana and other locales.Funding through their apata drug running operations. CIA, KKK, (another CIA op) MLK and a whole lotta loose ends. MooToo knew. What we don’t know is what was used? I suspect “Jacobs Ladder” or similar Vietnam brew. Operation Monarch and Bluebeam from Utah facility Dugway and Gunnison Facility State Prison continued to 1988 with the ELF and drug experiments. Leo Ryan knew, (too late) Thanks for that rabbit hole. Reminds me somewhat of David Koresh and what was in the underbelly of Waco. Deep hole as well.

  5. Well put together, i liked this report moocho! Outstanding insight, just a really common sense look and one MUST understand that anything federal is most likely a lie or at least very twisted. Also, this sure shows how really messed up our reality has become, after all a yellow sun is not normal, every one must accept without wonder, it’s white, not orange, duh.

  6. Interesting observations. I’ll respectfully add that compared to the size of the successful 9/11 censorship, the alleged obfuscation of mass shootings is a minor mystification. It stands to reason that the same elusive Master conspirators who can convince the mass media, worldwide, to televise the Twin Towers’ controlled demolition while explaining it away as the natural result of Osama bin Laden’s aerial attacks are quite capable of convincing them to tell their gullible audiences a fairy tale of shooting that includes no live video feed.

Accordingly, the most effective way to clear these apparently phony shootings may be to clear the 9/11 censorship.

    1. Daniel, the major media are already in bed with the government. They don’t have to be convinced of anything at all. It is assumed by them that CIA “owns” the high potentates of broadcasting and pays said talking heads like Limbaugh very, very, very well. Of course, Israel pays a fat percentage of radio “conservatives” heady salaries. When do you hear one of the big conservatives like Hannity, Levin, Limbaugh, Savage, Erickson, et al saying bad things, true things, about Israel? Answer? It does not happen…..ever. Limbaugh, while being intelligent and a good talker, is poor at covering over his paid-for relationship with Israel. He’s hilarious when he blatantly justifies the white man’s murder of millions of Plains Indians and their main food, buffaloes. “Oh, unless we did that, we never would have “advanced” so much in our development”.
Conservative radio hosts are some of the most disturbed people in this nation, they are paid-for whores who are undoubtedly enamored of the fat paychecks they receive and who pays them is secondary. While claiming to be America’s Number 1 citizens, they are actually the inverse. It’s almost as if they are paid by Obama, the alleged butt of their conversant ire.

    1. Funny you bring up Port Arthur (and it was false flag) because Killary Clinky has been saying if she gets elected she is going to do a mandatory “Buy Back” program just like the Port Author scam.

And for those who do sell?……Well, she says just elect her….

      1. Does anyone care Hillary came out in he open and “we are taking your guns or you go to Jail?”

Yes , She will give you’all 10 cents on the dollar in a (MANDATORY)buy back.

        She said it….Crickets.

        Lets do it!

It may be fun fun to hunted down unarmed…

        1. Please add any words and/or determiners to complete the sentences yourself…HaHa

          The Fool on the Hill

        2. Once she has your guns she’ll make you write checks to the “Clinton Fund”. But she’ll respect you in the morning.

  7. This is a good analysis. We seldom talk much about the concept of “jurisdiction”. Dozens get shot in Chicago and no one calls the FBI. They don’t call them “mass shootings” either, even if more than four are involved.

I suspect that the problems with the reporting stem from the drill scenarios not being believable to begin with, coupled by the federal spin master’s attempts at creativity.

Speaking of creativity, Kaitlin Roig’s book certainly is getting curious reviews. Take a look at the comments:

So you see, at least some people are waking up. Maybe the idea was to immerse people in “reality TEE VEE” until they lost their capacity for recognizing reality.

Truth be known, the reporting in the past was not all that good either. Now that the “media” are a wholly-owned subsidiary of the New World Odor there is no reporting. They just read the copy they’re handed by their owners.

We have been warned that they intended to do this. It is hard to argue that they haven’t set about selling their agendas like they were cheeseburgers. It shouldn’t be lost on us that even the iconic McDonald’s may be going out of business.

We have always been lied to. What seems different is the artless approach currently in vogue that insults our intelligence. They need to be laughed off the air. From her book review it looks like others are not buying in either.

    1. “Dozens get shot in Chicago and no one calls the FBI. They don’t call them “mass shootings” either, even if more than four are involved.”

I don’t know if it’s deliberate, but you’re missing the point:

“The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) defines an active shooter as “an individual actively engaged in killing or attempting to kill people in a confinedand populated area.” In its definition, DHS notes that, “in most cases, active shooters use firearm(s) and there is no pattern or method to their selection of victims.”

In drug and gang violence there is most certainly a pattern or method to the victim selection. However, the apparently “motiveless” nature of these crimes are what defines them, and differentiates them from a drive by gang related shooting. There is a motive behind most active shooter cases that are not fakes. The fact that the FBI has made such an arbitrary rule of eliminating more than half of the cases by defining out events that result in less than four casualties begs the question of why they are trying to obscure the data.

      1. I don’t see how I’m “missing the point”. That WAS my point (or at least one of them). Do you really think that I don’t know the difference between a gang shooting and a drill or hoax?

I am also familiar with the DHS’s definition. I find it just about as ludicrous. You make it sound like a solemn pronouncement.

What I’m saying, in effect, is that by “declaring” an event a “mass shooting” there is some inherent right for the imposition of federal jurisdiction. I suppose there IS ample precedent by now.

I am saying that an often undiscussed element of these things are the encroachment of federal authority over what would be local crime. After all, by their own scenarios, these are not government actions against the U.S., nor are they “foreign” or “terrorist” actions.

A “lone-nut shooter”, by definition, is not a group, organized or otherwise. The federal assertion of authority over these productions is designed to train the eaters to accept federal intervention whenever it suits them.

There was a time when the local cops would be screaming bloody murder if the feds interfered with their jurisdiction. They have become, de facto, federalized.

In very much the same way that Sofia Smallstorm describes funding as a method of circumventing government function, the funds used in these operations come with “strings”. Those strings lead to federal control.

        1. I totally agree that the federal government is usurping powers traditionally held by the states, and is conspiring to annul the Second Amendment. I think that this article was a little misleading in that it cited a gun control advocate shill’s Congressional Research Study to state that the mass shooting epidemic was statistically overstated. I believe that the NYPD Active Shooter study was more comprehensive and less deceptive. I do not believe that all the mass shootings are staged, although I believe that some percentage are. The FBI has previously conflated the active shooter incidents by injecting data from incongruous sources such as robbery-related homicides. Similarly, the analogy to gang shootings in Chicago serves to obfuscate the issue. My instincts tell me that the FBI arbitrarily changed the definition of mass shooting in 2012 because they have something to hide. Perhaps some of these staged shooting events serve to advance the gun control agenda. Perhaps some of the real increase in “motiveless” active shooter events are the result of overreaching federal operations that are rooted in COINTELPRO and even MKULTRA. This would give the FBI a reason to officially manipulate the data because it (along with its sister intelligence agencies) would have blood on their hands.

    2. Thanks for the advice about the comments at Amazon. Right now there are 241 of them. Most of them disgusted, giving one star.

Here’s a 5-star review: “Tip, if you want to see the real reviews, be sure to filter the reviews by “verified purchasers”. You will see that this book has 18 reviews from verified purchasers, 78% of which are 5 stars, and only 17% are 1 star reviews.”

This is great news. People who know the truth are hooting down an obvious fraudster, kind of like booing a disgraceful huckster off the stage. Not letting her get away with it. As for those 78% of 18 who bought the book and liked it, poor saps, they were taken in by the fake event, and still believe it.

      1. One would like to think that you’re right. It’s definitely hilarious and fun to read (the almost endless stream of them), but I’m suspicious that it may be the work of far less people than it appears. I more or less assumed from the get-go that a smallish group of people was responsible.

In an article I linked to the other day on the Trump/Jeb 9/11 crap, the comments section was greatly disheartening. I hoped and thought I could expect many “9/11 Inside Job” type comments. There weren’t nearly as many as I’d hoped for . . . and I honestly would expect radically more people to realize that 9/11 was an inside job than that Sandy Hook was phony.

        Perhaps I’m wrong.

    3. The former teacher, Glamour woman of the year, L’Oreal women of worth honoree, employed by AEI Speakers Bureau and now author on tour promoting her book, she is packing her Louis Vuitton bags for a propaganda tour of Australia and New Zealand. So much for privacy.

According to this nauseating article in the New Haven Register, one Robin Gaby Fisher assisted with the writing. Ms. Fisher “specializes in telling stories about regular people living through extraordinary circumstances” according to her bio.

“It is true she is living a life that seems far more glamorous than that of a small-town schoolteacher. During her bookstore talk, she projected photos on a nearby screen of her posing with President Barack Obama, members of the New England Patriots, Lady Gaga and other celebrities. She told us her book tour will take her to Australia and New Zealand.”

    1. Ric’s video says,

      Steven Seagal:
“I believe in the 2nd Amendment and I believe that – I hate to say this – a lot of these mass murders and all this funny stuff that’s going on, I believe a lot of this is engineered.”

    1. This is Insane and should prove to anyone who doubts our Govt. is staging false shootings.

The Feds still have Not disclosed to the Local Police Who or What Agency was Running the Drill ! The Army doesn’t even know !

      From Post:

“But three hours after the initial report, several police spokespeople said that their departments still weren’t sure precisely Who was carrying out the drill, or why the county police department hadn’t been made aware of it in advance.

The Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals is one of the tenants in the Leesburg Pike building.

Army spokesman Joe Buccino said that the Army Did Not conduct the drill, and the Board of Contract Appeals did not know about it ahead of time.”

      1. Ric,
This is particularly interesting after listening to Sofia Smallstorm’s interview on Real Politik, in which she mentions that the grants that pay for the swat-like equipment require that it be used in drills/live events, or agencies risk losing funding.

I wonder how they’re gonna figure out the paperwork on this one, huh?

    2. How weird. I’ve been in that building many times for cases. It is in Fall’s Church, VA. Oddly, they don’t mention that.

The ASBCA are tenants of the building, there are other, private concerns there as well. Most of the campus is occupied by contractors like SAIC.

It’s about five miles South of Arlington. The article says that an employee “misunderstood” an email and called the cops.

  8. Excellent article and comments, I’m in agreement with most.

“The depth and breadth of evil is beyond comprehension.” – I could not agree more, it has been difficult to wrap my head around the sheer scale of it.

Jonestown, Whitman @ UT – real events, certainly real people died. I would classify both as experiments. Almost assuredly MKUltra(CIA). Jonestown was about mass mind control, UT was individual mind control.

But something is different today. Possibly because the creators of said events are different? Today the entire event is fake, literally ‘everything’ is false… nothing is real. There is a brazenness, as is they are taunting those who are aware of the charade. They have sold the Big Lies (9/11, Boston, 7/7, SHS). Now it’s as if they’re seeing how BAD of a lie they can sell. Thin story, implausibility, bad acting. I had been attributing this to sloppiness or laziness, but I now believe it is deliberate. Its implications are disturbing on multiple levels.

Note: When I originally tried to post this TWC literally hijacked my browser with a ‘upgrade your modem’ page. Of course when I tried to ‘go back’ could not even access the page any longer. Had to restart Firefox and retype the comment. I guess someone did not like what I had to say…

    1. When I read “nothing is real”, the song “Strawberry Fields Forever” popped into my head.

Check out the lyrics…apropos, I think. It’s all related: politics, military, the Elite, “entertainment”, all forms of media, education, medicine. All are tools, and all are being used against us.

Though there may have been “real” mass shootings in the past (maybe some now, who knows?), I have to wonder: how real has the reporting been? And if reporting is manipulated, what good is “knowing”?

      1. I think it’s always important to keep in mind what James is actually doing. Here, he’s talking about the reporting. But isn’t that what he’s ALWAYS doing?

It’s quite possible that early mass shooting events were MKUltra productions, sure. But that’s not what Tracy is interested in. It is how they were reported. The point of the piece is how different it is now. The news presenters just repeat what government agencies tell them, now. Many of these people, laughably, call themselves “reporters.” Maybe that’s what they are taught in Journalism School to believe about being a court reporter for some alphabet agency.

He’s pointing out the difference–and by implication, the transition. We have, in our lifetimes, been groomed to accept amazingly foolish so-called “reporting” as acceptable, whereas half a century ago the press actually tried to find out what happened. Whodunit, behind the scenes, is not the point. James’ story, then, is really about US. About what we have allowed our masters to make us into.

They say lots of people are cutting the cable (Rush talked about that today). I don’t see that trend as being definitive. We are in a new civilization, and the spirit of antichrist will rule the world before long (maybe already is).

        1. “We are in a new civilization, and the spirit of antichrist will rule the world before long (maybe already is).”

I don’t believe one can be truly “awake” to our situation without fully comprehending the Bibles perspective of the world. This civilization is not new (it’s 4,500 years old) but is now very rapidly coming into its own once again. What took place at the tower of Babel (Gen 11 – the first post-flood NWO) is reoccurring. Examine this scripture carefully. What exactly does it say and what are the implications?

Luke 4:5-6… “And the devil, taking Him up into an high mountain, shewed unto Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said unto Him, All this power will I give Thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.”

While the person of anti-christ can not be manifested in the world until the body of Christ is removed at the church’s translation (2 Thes 2:7-10 KJB) and the dispensation of grace comes to a close; satan owns this place and he is moving it in the direction he wants it to go. The vast majority of humanity plays right along into his hands. he is the god of this world, the one Adam and Eve wanted to be like (Gen 3:4-5 KJB). Adam was the one to “deliver” control of this world over to satan when he chose to obey sin (pride) and not his Creator.

satan was God’s most beautiful and splendid creation (Ezekiel 28 KJB). he appears today as an angel of light and not the clove footed, pitchfork wielding, horn bearing, red devil we see parading about on halloween or portrayed in hollywood fantasy where catholic “priests” save the day.

2 Cor 11:14… “And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.”

Those who do not bear witness of the free grace of God offered to believers in today’s dispensation of grace are satan’s ministers.

2 Cor 11:15… “Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.”

It seems to me the majority of “professing Christians” believe they are generally “good people” and not fatally flawed sinners in desperate need of a Savior. Their minds are blinded by pride in themselves which satan was only too happy to share. Pride in himself was the cause of his fall.

2 Cor 4:3-4… “But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.”

The gospel of Christ is offensive to most as it states plainly that we are hopeless, helpless sinners who can do nothing to make ourselves “acceptable” to our Creator. Christ did it ALL on the cross for us.

The majority of those who profess Christ (and those who profess other gods) are following the leading of His enemy, thinking they are in Gods “good graces” by what they “do”. catholics “eat” christ; muslims kill “infidels”, “nice” people go to church and are polite, etc…

          Not at all.

That is how ultimately twisted, evil and perfectly backward this world actually is. As satan desires to be “like God” (Isaiah 14:12-14 KJB); “god” is what he looks like to most of the world. he is what people want their god to be… the god of their imaginations and not the God of the Bible.

Christ is literally and absolutely the worlds only solution. The Apostle Paul in 13 epistles presents Him to believers today. For those who understand fully that Christ took their place on the cross and died the death they deserved to die for them, Gods Word is opened to them as their spirits are quickened (made alive) and this confusing mass of worldly problems can now become clear as that man begins to study what God wrote about it.

1 Cor 2:14-16… “But the natural (unsaved) man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he that is spiritual (saved) judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? but we have the mind of Christ.” (* – word added to verse by me)

The very mind of Christ in the form of Gods Word is made available to the saved man that he is able to discern the things that are taking place around him.

It is plain to see that the further mankind gets away from Gods Word the further he descends into tyranny as it is Christ alone who makes us free (Gal 5:1 KJB). All these “attacks” that we are witnessing with greater and greater frequency are orchestrated to advance an agenda which has been around since the beginning of the world. satan wants to usurp Gods authority. While we know he loses in the end, he is doing an amazingly wonderful job deceiving the world thus far.

          grace and peace

        2. Great thoughts, pastor. One thing, though, I’d like to point out. You say: “This civilization is not new (it’s 4,500 years old)”. This is a matter of definition.

If you read my book–or just click on my name, and then click on the tag to buy it, you can read a sample at the publisher’s site–you will learn what I mean by “civilization.” As I use the term, it is a comprehensive worldview, a set of assumptions about reality, that is incompatible with that of other civilizations. And it is pretty much impossible for a person born into one civilization to become a member of another.

Marco Polo, for instance, could never think about reality the way the people of Genghis Khan thought, no matter how long he lived there, and no matter how hard he wished to do it. Similarly, the Romans and the Celts they conquered. In today’s context, it is an impossibility for a person born into what used to be the West to become a Moslem, in the sense of thinking from the point of view of Islamic civilization. It is simply impossible for an American christian who wishes to “convert” to Islam to feel the intensity of rage Moslems do in Moslem countries when dhimmies have the effrontery to attempt to rebuild a church building the dar-al-Islam just burnt down. They will never comprehend the Mind of Islam, however much they might mimic the “religious” behaviors of the people of the ummah.

I understand your pre-Flood/post-Flood distinction. It’s just not the one I’m talking about.

Outside of that point of clarification, everything you say here (outside your timing of the Rapture), I certainly agree with.

        3. I agree, I went a bit off-topic. But as I said EVERYTHING is false now. Including the ‘reporting’. It makes sense, if all of the event is false then any real journalism is going to discover this and quickly. So what better way to thwart an investigation than by having no ‘meddling reporters’.

I have come of the opinion that False Flags are on a sliding scale based on how much of the event is created or staged. From just one element (say just the shooter like Whitman @ UT) to the entire event, like SHS. It seems today we’re pegging the 100% staged, on every event.

I do believe many are cutting the cable, but I don’t believe they are moving to alt media. They’re just dropping news consumption period. Which is a good thing. It’s better to know nothing, than nothing but lies.

I’m of the opinion the spirit of antichrist already rules. Our entire culture worships money. Worships celebrity. Worships entertainment. Is not the very definition of the antichrist – deception? And are we not literally drowning in an ocean of lies?

        4. 2 Timothy 3:

1But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. 2For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, 4treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power.

          Sound like now?

          Kevin says:

“I’m of the opinion the spirit of antichrist already rules. Our entire culture worships money. Worships celebrity. Worships entertainment. Is not the very definition of the antichrist – deception? And are we not literally drowning in an ocean of lies?”

        5. “I’m of the opinion the spirit of antichrist already rules.”

Certainly you are correctly seeing clearly that things are very wrong. It is satan himself which is the god of this world (2 Cor 4:4). Adam transferred ruler ship directly to him (Luke 4:5-6). There are fine, but very important lines of distinction here, if we are to truly know what’s taking place. If I may…

“Is not the very definition of the antichrist – deception?”

anti-christ is the human manifestation of satan in the world as Jesus Christ was the human manifestation of God. Deceit is the very nature of satan. What satan attempts to do, demonstrated by Isaiah 14:12-14 (KJB) is to “mimic” everything that God says about Himself in order to cause mankind to worship himself (satan) and not God. he says; “I will be like the Most High.” he has done a remarkable job. he has done it by corrupting Gods Word. Gen 3:1… “Yea, hath God said…?” “Did God really say that?” Words have precise meaning that satan distorts.

As there is a Holy Trinity of God the Father, Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit, so too is there an unholy trinity of satan the father, anti-christ the son and the unholy spirit.

satan has been working throughout time in different ways within and without the human race to thwart Gods ultimate plans for His creation. anti-christ himself is known as the “son of perdition” which term only appears twice in the KJB (John 17:12 and 2 Thes 2:3).

          Perdition: utter destruction

anti-christ (unholy son of destruction) was made humanly manifest in the past as Judas Iscariot as the reference in John indicates (Christ lost one of the twelve – Judas). satan believed himself to be winning the battle for dominion when he entered into Judas, causing him to become that “son of perdition” (Luke 22:3 KJB) thus “destroying” Gods Son and gaining the upper hand to himself.

Not so much… as God had bigger plans. The mystery revealed to Paul. The most important aspect of the Bible for believers today (see my website if you would like to learn more).

1 Cor 2:7-8… “But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.”

The future reference to anti-christ, the son of perdition, is in 2 Thes and this manifestation has not yet occurred.

Another Temple must be built for this “son” (in his own “second coming” – again, everything is a false copy) to be made manifest in, and declare himself to Jerusalem, that he is the messiah they have been waiting for. Jerusalem will believe him as they are willfully deceived from the beginning (John 8:44, ouch). satan will choose some man in the future, very likely (I believe) a highly charismatic homosexual Syrian. That man will be killed and 3 days later he will rise again by way of satan entering into him (Rev 13). he will enter into that rebuilt Jewish temple to declare himself the god of Israel (and the world). The unholy spirit (false prophet) will “prove” anti-christ with miraculous signs and wonders as the world walks not by faith but by sight. The world will cheer! he is what the world is waiting for. A man to save mans sinful world. Man loves his sinful world.

“And are we not literally drowning in an ocean of lies?”

Absolutely. The father of lies steers this ship with the majority of humanity on board and offering assistance.

2 Thes 2:7… “The mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.”

Key verse here. What we see all around us is the progress of satan in the world, the mystery of iniquity. Things are not getting better as the “progressives” and their willfully blind followers believe… things cannot get “better” until God Himself destroys the cursed sinful world that cursed sinful man has constructed, and rebuilds creation back in His own image.

What prevents Him from doing this today is the dispensation of grace. God is not wrathful toward the world today, He is graceful. It is the church – the body of Christ (Eph 5:30… “For we are members of His body, of His flesh, and of His bones.) which letteth (to “let” – to retard, hinder, impede, obstruct) anti-christs appearing. Once the body is removed from the earth (“rapture” – though I don’t like that word), satan will then enter into a man once again and things will get truly ugly, as they were about to get before God called Paul on the road to Damascus, postponing wrath and the 70’th week for over 2,000 years now.

How much longer can Gods grace last? I don’t know.

The world IS drowning in an ocean of lies. We however do not have to join it. God has given us His Truth. In the English language that Truth is the King James Bible (other “versions” are satanically perverted “religious” books – I’ll demonstrate this if you like). Study it carefully starting with the book of Romans (focus on chapters 1-8) and worldly lies (especially those taught in churches) will melt away completely.

          grace and peace
